doesn't tapscott to chapman mean that you can keep one of those 3 players you just mentioned?

I'm just saying that it really needs to be done, there are already reasonable targets for bench keepers in mzungu and Smith if he gets named again, this is the cheapest we'll probably see chappy all season, and he'll probably end up averaging 110-115 for the rest of the season.

That being said, you could hold off for one more week without copping a huge price rise, but IMO he's going to dominate this week ridiculously.

When will I win the powerball ziplock?

If a tree falls in a forest and there is nobody around to hear it, how long is a piece of string?

Haha, wise words sensai  ;)

a piece of string is exactly twice as long as half its length

My forward line currently is: Franklin, N. Riewoldt, Fyfe, Dawes, Knights, Darling, Matera (Mzungu, Tapscott, J.Tippett)

Obviously Petrie in the ruck to cover Sandi and I've got Goodes to swap back into forward line for Mzungu. I'm wanting to sell Matera when he's peaked, so I'd definately be keeping one of Dawes, Knights, and Darling regardless of getting Chapman, maybe even two with one as a bench keeper/bye cover. How's this for a finished forward line:

Franklin, Goodes, N.Riewoldt, Fyfe, Chapman, Petrie, [one of Dawes, Knights, Darling] (bench)

Only if I've got the trades come finals time would I upgrade that 7th forward position. Otherwise I think Knights in particular is looking good enough, Dawes a big disappointment.

I'll be mulling this one over right up until the deadline I think.

Ziplock

that looks good enough to me. Might be a touch weak, but if you're compensating it with a beastial team in other areas, no issue.

Is Ryder to A.Browne a good trade. I think Browne will become richmonds no.1 ruck. he has been on their list for a while and graham isnt impressing. Ryder has been putting out way below average and with zac smith on bench this trade would give me two rookies to choose from each week as no.2 ruck. cox is my other ruck. it would net me just below 160k to upgrade another department
thanks zip

Ziplock

honestly, no. He's only played 5 games in his career with a highscore of 43, I wouldn't be touching him unless he gets named for a 3rd game and has flogged his first and second games.

Honestly, this week just bench ryder and play smith, then evaluate what to do next round. I would be looking at upgrading ryder (probably to goldstein since sandi is out) if it's a very desperate situation.

Who's your 4th ruck? if it's tippet and you have petrie in the fwd line, it could be worth it to just play smith until sandilands comes back, then downgrade smith to a rookie (browne if you really want), and then upgrade sandilands (just to stress, when he comes back).

Hey Zip,

With $59k and 18trades left:

B: Gibbs,Goddard,Lids,Shaw,Enright,Duigan,Lower (Heppell,Otten,Puopolo)
M: Swan,Thomas,Boyd,Goodes,Libba,Swallow (Krakouer,Harris,Jacobs)
R: Cox,Ryder (Z.Smith,McCauley)
F:Pavlich,Franklin,B.Harvey,Fyfe,NRoo,O'Keefe,Darling (Tapscott,Prestia,C.Richo)

I eventually want to pickup Adcock in the backs, S.Thompson in mids and Sylvia in forwards...I also have a good mind to drop Ryder as I've cursed him the last 3 weeks and now he has a bye...But for now will be covering him with Z.Smith. Sandi was my best trade option in the rucks but is now injured....Rucks are last on my mind.

Are these good options to trade to, and in what order would you do it? I know I need to get Tapscott out as he's injured (do we know for how long). I'm thinking of holding off this week as would like my cash cows to make a little bit more $$ before trading...plus Tapscott won't be changing in price and want to hang off to see what Mzungu and M.Evans do in their 2nd week before their bubble.
I obviously was also thinking of Jelwood, but the bye in the finals still concerns me with Geelong players - but it is still a long way away (am currently 3rd in league and just lost to 2nd team by 5 points - Bloody Patty Ryder!)
Also thinking Pendles but have too many Pies already...
Any help would be great Zip!
Tapscotts out for 3, but should go soon
Thompson, Adcock, Sylvia in that order, based mostly on prices and current breakevens.

IMO, Chapman is a more must have players than Jelwood, but considering you have goodes in the mids and plan on sylvia, there's not really room for him. I think even with the finals bye you can easily carry just selwood and enright. Ryder should go, but you've lost so much on him it's not really imperitive. SHould you need to do it quickly for a fix, go to goldstein (who's averaging 100) as he's the only ruck scoring even within eyesight of cox + sandi.

Those are good trades, and I'd be doing them now. I would try to get in Thompson this week and chappy next week before they cop substantial price rises, and that means trading tapscott out now to probably mzungu or lynch, mzungu's JS is good enough that you can trade him in without being on the bubble if need be.

And pendles is fine if you have an easy matchup during pies second bye :)

So now with Enright out with the dreaded "General Soreness" would it be best to start with the Adcock trade this week? I was thinking dropping Tappy for Mzungu (although not on bubble and could be sub again) and finally getting rid of Otten as he's not listed AGAIN for Jed! Yes he's made the least money but now Lower, Duigan, Jacobs & Puopolo have lover BE's than him?
At least then by next week Harris & Krakouer would have made more money in order to downgrade/upgrade for S.Thommo?

I believe Otten is expected back next week, he was meant to be given 2 weeks in SANFL before returning, so might be a hold there

Those are fine enough trades. Getting adcock in now to cover for enright could be a win and lose difference.

I'm not sure if I would hold otten even though he's close to being off from injury, 2 weeks in sanfl and another week injury is 3 weeks, and that's presuming he gets injected straight into adelaide's side (they're doing reasonably atm), and presuming he doesn't just blow his knee out again in like a week. I'd be doing those trades.
