Im thinking of trading them both

Bank = $155,400

Higgins  = $358,900
Brown = $361,000

Bank after trade = $153,300

Dangerfield = $272,000
Chapman = $404,300

Bank = $21,000

This doesnt leave me with much money, however im thinking next week i can trade Tapscott to Mzungu and that'll give me another $100,000 and then i can upgrade either matera or harris ?

Im only going for top of my league, which i am already, but theres some solid competition

Let me know what you think... thanks.

Both look like good trades but you have to be sure Brown will keep it up and not get injured again.

Rated_RKO

well if he does get injured again, it''ll be like i never traded higgins out anyway? lol

LaHug

Haha! Great point! Good luck with your trades and obviously wait til Friday :)

He got a knee to the face, hardly a common injury...

Brown is back and he'll be back to his best

Brownie could be a good pick. Only has a 16 game season so might get through without any further injuries.
Although he is a KPP!

Ziplock

Brown's a beast, enough said. Reasonable trades imo.

Although, I'm going to hold with higgins. The asshole.

I wasn't talking about his most recent injury. See the last few seasons for what I'm actually talking about. He's getting old and showing it in terms of injury.

+1 plagued by "abdominal injuries" sounds like groin to me, for last year or so....

Bluke

I wouldnt be trading Higgins out just yet. The entire bulldogs team got belted and Higgins got the Adam Selwood tag - he has bailed up a few guns so far this season. He will get better provided he is named.

hardnut

yep my equation is for Higgins simple named=keep because he is a keeper....

Bluke

Exactly, far to many people raging Higgins yesterday on the chat IMO.

He has just come back from injury. Gets Adam Selwood tag and his team gets thumped! I watched the game and he didnt look that bad, the endeavour was there... But the ball hardly made it into the doggies forward half. Furthermore, if people thought about it, it could have been expected that Higgins would be the Sub. First game back building fitness back up...

there is massive anti-Higgins sentiment on this site..my question is why did they all put him in your team if you HATE him so much?? He's a gun player and has had a tough day at the office, if you trade premiums out atfer every sub-par performane you'd be out of trades in 12 weeks.

Go Higgo, prove me right!!

We knew he'd miss games, but us Higgo haters didn't expect him to miss 4 and a half of the first 8 games of the year. Nor did we expect him to dish us out a 29 :( hence hatred building.

Ziplock

^ that pretty much sums it up. With the exception of 08, higgins has played more than 16 games in his past 4 seasons out of 22. This season he's already missed 4 games and has had a depreciated score for another.

He's very close to filling his quota... maybe injury free from now on :) ?
