well, bench keepers at this stage could theoretically be used for final upgrades.

id get lynch this week in forward line. i know hes 120k, but with two 90+ games, he is going to rise by at least 40k if he pulls out another 90+ game.  Keep an eye on smith from hawthorn, if he plays this weeks its his third.

I would then jump on mzungu next week.

goodluck!

to answer your question though, i would def get rid of tapscott. like everyone is saying, has a high BE when he returns whenever that may be.

As for darling, its a tough call i think. i am not trading him out this week, probably next week. Reason being i have 2 trades i need to do this week and he's not involved. He looks like he pretty much has peaked though.

Tapscott -> T.Lynch, easy done. Lynch will probs be a bench keeper for me I'm sure his scoring will be up & down.

Anyone looking to sell Darling must have a damn good forward line or trades to burn. Worth another week along with Knights.

Tappy > Mzungu move Missy Higgins into midfield and kill the ba.s.ta.rd for Montagna. Then wait till Pies bye gone and start operation Pendlebury. Gonna keep Darling i like him he's a tackling machine. Keeping Knights aswell he'll be back to his best soon dont have to rely on him kicking goals to post a decent score

Oh i forgot to say C.Richardson is a spud, i have ended up with another Relton Roberts nothing i can do with the prick except spew every time i see his name  :'(

Yeah fair enough, I guess it is a decent amount of cash. For me though he will make up for that by making a lot more money and sooner rather than later. Also sure his price is higher, but it makes a trade to a premium that little bit easier.

To each his own I guess. Mzungu might rip it up with Lynch getting dropped/injured :)
I'd have thought that rookies you bring in at this stage of the season would be as bench keepers, not cash cows. So how quickly they make money and how much money they make should not come into the decision making process. It should all be about JS, DPP and ability to score reasonably.

Yeah you're right, I didn't even think about that :P My problem is that I don't actually have any DPP link with my mids, and Libba, Iles, Hibberd and Harris all have money to make, so I couldn't trade him in there yet (although I probably will get Chappy next week in the mids for Harris/Libba. If they still have a bit more money to make next week though, I might be tempted to get rid of Krak/Darling/Tapscott for him though... depending on their B/E's of course). I think I'll have to skip Smith and go with Mzungu next week... as although I was going to double downgrade this week, Sandi being out with no cover is going to take one of those trades... then again perhaps Smith/Lynch is a better option than Jacobs for Otten/Toy/Smith, as all have a bit more cash to gain I reckon, compared to Tapscott (other options are Harper and Matera, who also have more cash to gain...).
