I really want to get in chapman this week and i think didak might be my weakest player in my forward line

i have

Franklin, Vodlt, Higgins, Stevie J, Didak, Knights, Petrie (Darling, Matera, richardson)

i was originally thinking knights or petrie but they keep posting good scores or in the case of petrie he keeps averaging good scores. I can afford to go dids to chapman this week but not the week after. It will than leave me with darling as a 8th keeper. The alternative is Darling to chapman and put dids on the bench for a while. The only problem with that is that it will be super annoying to have him as the sub when/if he pulls out a big score.

while i was typing out the reasoning the last option sounds quite good as i can wait till dids comes good and if he starts firing again than he could be great cover for my mids and forward line when byes and injuries hit.

Nails

MPP Gun who is shower this year but could/might turn it around

vs a Rookie stuck in the forwards

I'd go the MPP even if he will average ~10ppg less simply because of dual cover.

believe dids will come good....but, if the choice is chappy or didak - go the bald man all the way....

Holz.I thought chappy would drop in price next week too...high BE hasn;t he ??  so if you can afford him this week, recon you can get him next week too??  that was my plan..

Memphistopheles

Darling to Chappy is the way to go.

Darling is just a really good cash cow IMO.

Didak is a useful mpp premium in a form slump.

chappy against GC, i can see it turning potentiaslly ugle\y for GC so having Chapman, Stevie J, Bartel, Selwood and gellong kiling them by 100+ if they want to ( show ablett they are better without him).

Chappy's B/E according to assistant coach is 121, which is gettable, but he definitely isn't likely to go up much in price.

Didak on the other hand has a B/E of 145... I personally won't/can't (14 trades left...) get rid of him, as I've got to cash in on some rookies this week... Didak or Darling to Chappy is tempting though I'll admit.

Would you go Tapscott > Lynch/Smith/Mzungu and Darling/Didak to Chappy or get Jacobs for Otten/Smith/Toy? (probably prefer to get Otten, as I reckon Smith should keep playing and start earning some more money soon).

i go for overall so the extra 50 points i could possibly get wont hurt my overall score. I think this week i will be going darling to chapman as i will be getting in chapman this week and the only other option is harris and i want him as a 7th keeper.

i would go tappy to smith (if named) or lynch (if named and smith isnt) than get mzungu the week after. however gettting in jacobs this week is a must, so if 2 good options come up than why not double downgrade.

I thought double downgrading was what you didn't want to do when going for overall. Just costing you points...

Cicjose

darling is a keeper....

Bluke

Darling and Didak are both keepers.

i normally wouldnt do it but in my case it would be 2 players on my bench so its like not trading at all. Plus if JAcobas and Smith do turn out to be 75+ players than you need them. Thats why i got in jacobs last week so i can double trade this week if smith is playing and if not i will go lynch chappy.

Good call. Sounds like a good plan!

im on the opposite side of the fence, thinking about getting didak in a few weeks. lol.  proven gun who is having a stinker of a season who WILL come good (i base that on nothing!).

id be more tempted to trade out matera and keep didak and darling.

And as for richardson, well, he's just richardson. need i say anymore on that :)

oldshepp

Didak got a bit of it when subbed on last week

Once his confidence is back you will be glad you hung on to him

He will rotate through the midfield - he actually started in the middle at the start of the last quarter

Holz

im going to keep didak, looking back it was stupid thinking of getting rid of him it means i have to get rid of darling though
