possibly just bargain rucks/those of us with Vickery/Smith/Cox/Keeffe getting lucky and striking back against those with Sandi.

Sorry Sandi and Owners, not good news for any of you, hope you're back soon big fella, but it doesn't sound good.

"The injury can be debilitating for athletes who need to accelerate, quickly change direction, or jump"

"A healing period of one or more months is often required."

"Turf toe can often progress into a chronic problem, in which the joint(s) never really heals or heals too slowly to return to usual physical activities."

The last one I doubt will really happen... however if it healing too slowly can cause permanent issues then I highly doubt Sandi will be walking anywhere, let alone playing next week.

I've been using Smith all year and been planning to upgrade to Sandi in a couple rounds...

That was until he scored two back to back hundreds and my plan was changed to "if he scores 80+ next two rounds he's my permanent second"

I guess I catch up with the pack this way, WITHOUT burning a trade :D

My cousin is a physio and knows the physio that treats sandi, your right apparently he has been having foot problems for over a year.

Agreed  :D

I think it's well known that Sandi has had foot issues for a while and it hasn't effected his output. He rarely plays 22 so he may be given a rest from this but I'm not too concerned until I get some confirmel info

Jon Griffen has been in good form in the wafl. this might fuel speculation of a little lay-off for the big man

Montag

maybe it was the nike high top boots he was wearing. he had basketball shoes with studs on them. suprised he doesnt get more ankle injurys with them. the went up just above ankle

Yes but that $230k I put in another player is really paying off for me now. I'm going to be scoring as many points in the ruck as everyone else and not losing so many ppg as I was. I've only copped 8 rounds of not having Sandi and as a result that 230k was well spent and helped me out a lot.
