SHORT TERM GAIN LONG TERM PAIN !

Just want to say that when you make such a large post to make sure you have your facts straight. I only read the first paragraph about the Pies because it's tl;dr.

But Travis Cloke is only 24 mate, not 27+.

Don't know why the subject has gone off-topic so i'll just say

IF BRENDAN FEVOLA COMES TO THE PORT ADELAIDE FOOTBALL CLUB I WILL SUPPORT A DIFFERENT TEAM.

The F.A.R.K.

And i believe you too. We still have supporters at Alberton, just not as many as other clubs.

Across the other side is / was the Beehive corner.

Recruiting Fev could be the best thing Port could do imo...

Fev still kicked 40-50 goals for the mighty lions and wasn't that bad... Let's face it, with Port Adelaide's line up Fevola would be the star, sure he's not the player he used to be but might kick 1-2 bags and win a game or two off his own back... i.e. how many games Port Adelaide have won this entire season...

I don't get this "they will have no more fans" if Fevola actually wins them a game surely they'll be up and about as a once in a year event will have occurred because Fev played well :)

+1 they need fev to carry them until they can pick up decent draft picks (aka, once gws + GC are off the bottom)

But having Fev is more than just helping them win. His off-field stuff is going to destroy Port even more than they are now.

Ummm...

He has lived in BrisVEGAS and Melbourne - great night lifes.

He'd be living in Adelaide, the city of churches and flower all else...

What's he going to do there? He couldn't be a bad boy if he wanted to.

PowerBug

We do have a casino here you know. It ain't all churches. You should come down and take a look.

The F.A.R.K.

i have lived here for 10 years and there is only 1 church in city. there is one in melb too

If you're a bad egg you can get in trouble anywhere. A capital city, may not have the same 'night life' as Melbourne & Brisbane but it is still a big place where a lot can go wrong.

Clearly you haven't lived here long enough. I can think of at least 5 in the CBD excluding the likes of St Peter's and those in Nth Adelaide - church at St Mary's College, Later Day Saints on Nth Terrace, St Xaviers on Victoria Square, St Lukes on Whitmore Square, Trinity Church on Nth Terrace. And there are definitely more than one in the Melb CBD. Just saying.
