i am planning to downgrade one of my defenders and upgrade a midfielder to boyd

duigan/lower- hibbert or puopolo

swallow/atley/harris - boyd   (my mid are stanton swan montags bartel jacobs bewick plus <<)

who would be the best to trade out and trade in????

Either downgrade.  Both have been solid.  Hibberd probably more so during preseason.  But JS is questionable in both situations; they are both in teams that are pushing for a decent finals spot early - and team structure needs to be stable.

But if they keep playing well, I don't see them getting dropped (plus they were both named on the field).

As for your Upgrade, never hesitate to bring in Boyd.  Ever.  I'd flick off Atley.  Then Swallow.  Then Harris.
I would only flick off swallow before Harris because Harris has an extra 50k to earn than swallow if they maintain similar averages.  But if I was planning on keeping one of Swallow and Harris as cover - I'd definitely pick Swallow over Harris; he is much more exciting and a junior gun.
