Straight swap Jobe ---> Mundy???

I know it's kinda stupid and I've already used up a trade this week (Otten ---> Puopolo), but to avoid a 0 this week, I could trade Jobe out for Mundy. Or I could just cop the donut this week but I'll surely slump in the rankings (in the top 1%) and I'm facing tough opponents in my leagues?

You've just made money downgrading... surely you have money to UPGRADE and not sideways trade a premium :-\

I'm gonna save that money for my Harris ---> Ablett upgrade next week.

don't trust watson's hammy's. mundy's in premium form, could be a decent trade to keep your ranking.

No. Ablett has had one good game...

How much money have you got? If you can afford Mundy jump on.

Seriously what do you expect Ablett to average? Let's say you're optimistic and expect him to average ~112. He's going to play 15 more games this year and therefore amass 1,680 points for your team.

Get say Mundy in this round... He has one bye to come which you can cover with Harris/Swallow so they should get ~80

Mundy has played 7 games and has 15 more to come. If Mundy were to only average 108 (he'll average close to 115 realistically) You're going to get Mundy covering this week for a doughnut and 14 more games. i.e. 15*108 = 1,620 plus Swallow/Harris' 80 = 1,700

Going for overall ranking = getting a player in now is going to help you greatly compared to a doughnut. You're sacrificing ~120 points by not bringing in a gun this week for Harris/Swallow. Realistically Watson is only going to miss 2 games and is therefore a no no to be traded.

If you want to maintain overall get Mundy/similar in. In my calculations you get 20 extra points, but it'd probably be more like 100.

You could also go Swallow/Harris > Mzungu

You're going to want Mzungu eventually, it'll give you the cash to double upgrade next week and cover a doughnut.

the simple answer is harris to montagna this week, monty tears the demons apart with past scores of 135, 110 and 146 in his last 3 games against them, he costs around the same as gaz and plays in a beter team (they suck now but do you really think they will keep going this way). I picked him up for 440k and i would do so again this week if he was that price. You will probably not end up getting him but be warned it could really hurt in a few weeks looking back.

Getting rid of Watto for a sideways trade..are you out of your mind? Watto is not an LTI. He'll be back in like 2-3 weeks and Ess have the bye while he's recovering so you'd have to bench him anyway.

why not trade out swallow this week? you got 3 guys on the bench who all will play some games over the course of the season and if you need a keep then harris could be your man. i say laterz swallow bring in a premo and youre laughing

This is a good Question. Lets go further down the track. Say you make the Final in your League you have Watson, he will have to be either traded or benched as rd24 is Essendons 2nd bye. Also assuming that you have Heppell as he would have either been traded or even still in your side then that = 2 trades then without worry about the old reaccurring General Soreness happening if the top sides are cemented in the top eight. Remember last year & previous.

I agree also with all the above comments as well, but if you keep him you do have to trade him. So maybe in essence getting rid of him now means that problem later down the track is eliminated.

I know that I will get howled down but IMO removes that concern of rd24 Essendons Bye
