Ok look... I'm playing against my girlfriend's team which is significantly better than mine. I give her options on who to trade in etc and she makes the decision and it's always the right one which pisses me off. So I must beat her.

I am trading in Adam Goodes and Luke Hodge as 2 gun players i can afford, and trading out Harley Bennell and someone. Daniel Kerr has a breakeven of 1, but may have a groin problem and will be traded out eventually anyway. Nathan Foley has a breakeven of 106 but has actually been playing alright.
I also still have Ed Curnow but he should return in round 12 and before his injury I had decided he was probably a keeper. Though that has changed, I still think he should be be 3rd in line to be sacked from my team out of these 3 players.
I have $105,400 in the bank if anyone has any better ideas.

I vote curnow and i hope you lose, in a good way. Kerr and Foley are playing fine for now but Curnow has given me a 13 and a 0, it's like he's not even playing :)

I say curnow too. See how Kerr goes, he's been named and so should make you a bit of cash at least.

kerr for me. all that guy is is dt/sc trouble. wouldnt surprise if he does a hammy after 5 mins in any given game, meaning a crap score for the week and loss in value. i could never feel comfortable with him in my team

OUCH @ playing your GF, The guys this year are loving that I am pretty much at the bottom of the ladder ha. If I beat them and move on up it will piss them off to be beaten by a girl. Quoted and noted.

If you want to win this week, then you must trade Curnow as it gives you an extra scoring player. If you trade Kerr or Foley it gives you less options & they both are playing good footy & Kerr has more money to be made before he should be traded.

What sort of ceiling price did you envision for Curnow? He has probably exceeded expectation and no mistake could be made by trading him now, remembering that Carlton will not play in prelim DT week of rnd 23 - so you might as well cut him loose now and feed off the fat that this cash cow has provided  ;)

*BTW Fireballz, I lost my very first season of DT in a GF against my wife because I traded in Ben Hudson for Matthew Kruzer and lost by 59 points? Hudson didn't play and Kruzer scored around 62?, meaning I would've won by 3?

These decisions to trade will make us stronger and better players by the intricasies of our outcomes, good luck - it cost me a week of massages.

And Miss Pies - there's a couple of girls in my league and one guy's gf played my gf last week in an awesome match that my girl lost 1990-2016. I scored 1876  :(

The reason for my post is to remind you that Kerr has only played 26 games in the last three seasons.....26 in the last THREE SEASONS. Most it players can almost play that amount in ONE season  ;)

I dunno I kind of post in bursts and then lose interest coz my dream team fails miserably. Also last year I was too trigger happy and ran out of trades so I had no use for the forums after round 15!  :P

And yeh that's why i'm pretty eager to get rid of him. Got him and Foley in as potential cash cows. Was a big risk but probably has paid off so far, but I don't want to push my luck. Kerr -> Mzungu and Kraks ->Premium mid is looking likely in 2 weeks!

I cannot stress how important it is that I beat her this week. I have her password but I must beat her with honour to restore my pride!

I ended up getting rid of Foley and Curnow so watch Foley score 140 this week and Curnow to make a miraculous recovery and be named next week and avg 120 for the rest of the season.
