Going for Broke

Since I'm ranked pretty high (188) I've decided to go for overall. I reckon this means that I need to get my team to its best as fast as possible. This week that would mean downgrading Stanley for Puops then upgrading Swallow to Selwood. One approach that is a bit more conservative is Lower --> Puopolo then Swallow --> Murphy. This would leave me with 14 trades and 1 mid upgrade and 1 or 2 back upgrades remaining until my team would be finished.

Do you reckon the possible gains in overall rank from having Selwood for longer is worth sacrificing Stanley and Swallow for?

No. They've got at least another 2 matches growth and in D. Swallow's case I've got a good feeling he's going to start scoring more 100s after the bye. Try to hold if you can as the price rise outrise the extra 20-40 points you might get from upgrading.

You need to go for it, you need to keep in touch with the leaders and bet my ass they will all be upgrading like hell this week. You will not only more than likely be fielding rookies due to the GC bye, you will also be missing out on prem points from not up grading.

He clearly said he was going for overall and the team worth the most doesn't win anything. No point waiting for players to peak in price if at the same time you loosing points to the leaders.

nice. Yeah, upgrade swallow to jelwood by downgrading stanley (or, lower preferably if you can do it)
