Defender upgrade this week (after much debate)

Who is the best and why

I have
Gibbs,deledio,Goddard,adcock,gram,Heppel

Any help would be great

Bluke

Heater because he is avging the most, is durable and playing in a winning team. Seems to be getting tagged less as well.

DanJ

Suckling, 60k cheaper and averaging the same as heater (half point difference)

Problems

Heater for the rich coaches, Suck for the poorer/gambling coaches due to his prior injuries and unavailable past experience to go by

Chelskiman

I can get Suckling or Shaw this week.  Leaning towards to Suckling atm, but Shaw is very tempting.

What prior injuries are you speaking of ?

Shaw , Fisher or Suckling.

Bluke

Suckling is a massive NO.

pinochio

Bluke why you say suckling is a massive no???

Suckling is a massive NO.

Just like Goddard was a massive YES?

*injury, apologies, referring to knee complaint that had him sidelined in R7

Bluke

Goddard is still a massive YES. Anyone who thinks this guy will stay down for long is niave. Once he and the saints get their heads right they will start scoring well enough again.

Suckling hasn't played enough football for me.

At this stage of the year, I only select durable players - Suckling hasnt demonstrated durability. Take a punt at the start of the year sure, theres plenty of time and trades to fix mistakes.

There have been so many LTIs so far this season that its a big risk to take a punt on someone who has played under 15 games over three seasons and who has already missed a game with a knee complaint this season.

yorgis

i will go shawy when i can, got other probs to deal with [ jolly and watson ] still got grimes on bench and don't want no krispy kreams

pinochio

Bluke so i guess you prefer the consistent scotland/carrots types???

who out of those 2???

Bluke

Both are relatively durable. Both have similar records against Geelong. One of the two would be in my team if it wernt for Gibbs and the finals bye. I had both in my team last year.

Touch call pinochio.. The risk with Carrazzo is that he will be given more negating roles, although Gibbs seems to have taken over that mantle a bit.

The risk with Scotland is his age, at 31 he isnt getting any younger so he may get a rest come the end of the season.

I wouldnt probably go Carrazzo to be honest, just because his ceiling and potential is massive. Plus he is slightly cheaper with a lower BE. Just hope to hell Rats doesnt get him tagging every week again.

pinochio

apart from scotland and carrots the only other 2 solid picks i would think are adcock and enright....and adcock has his own problems...

enright over scotland/carrots???

or should i just bite the bullet and go harris/stanley > shaw/pups???
