Hodgey

Seems like a few people are going to put Hodge in their teams this week cos he's a cheap upgrade option. I wont be becuase he's not a defender and there are too many better options in the midfield imo. I can see no problem with it if you have fvcked your team and need a quick fix but otherwise i feel it's a risky move, he's cheap for a reason. Plus in my case i already have Mitchell so for me it wouldn't be good idea. Dont get me wrong he is a superstar player i just think the days of being in 75% of teams are gone for a good reason. Interested to see how many people will be jumping on the Hodge.

he averaged 103 last year. nothing wrong with that as a 6th mid if you are confident he can get back to his touch... and on the weekend he showed he might be

I need to fix my forward line a tadd so im getting rid of Lower for the Hib or Poo then upgrading Curnow to Sylvia with the extra 45k i have and then putting him into my forward line via the dpp link.

im on, 60k upgrade for Curnow, would be silly not to.

I just think people could wait, save a little more cash and put in a Pendles or Mundy. Its a long season  ;)

I think if at the start of the year Hodge was 330k we would have all picked him, he was always going to start slow, thats very obvious, but I can see him finishing the last half of year with some big numbers.  Its a no brainer for me
