My opinion is that he has played Brisbane and the Crows in the last two weeks, who are two of the weaker teams in the comp atm. I dont see him pulling scores of anything like 90 when he comes up against other teams, where they get absolutely pumped. Also Charlie Dixon when he is back in the side will surely have a negative effect on his DT scores as he will become probably the no.1 target. My last point is hes 120k, and we have guys Mzungu (97k) and Callinan (80k) coming back into their sides soon. I dont think I am going to get him, whats your opinion?

Hmmm, I think I'll pass on Lynch. Have other cash cows to focus on this week that look better for me. But he is likely to get a good chance this year, so can't begrudge anyone going for him

PowerBug

We have until next week to think about it. What if there is an injury to a premium? Callinan is still on the rookie list so he might not even play this year.

DG

callinan should come on for davis lti. I read an interview with someone at the crows that indicated that callinan would be given every opportunity to take that sport if he showed enough on his return (sorry dont remember where it was). Doesnt guarantee games, but a good started.

I like the look of lynch, but yeah will wait til next week and see how things are looking, but probably unlikely.

Cicjose

Callinan is 28 years old

no AFL team recruits players that old unless they are going to play

Even though he's been killing it, I'm not sure the price difference is worth it for a downgrade. How many times have you planned your trades and been a pretty small amount short of the upgrade you want??

On the flip side though, you pay the extra and get a potential forward keeper with no more byes.

I'm still deciding, but I'm leaning towards no for now.

Ziplock

he's an extra 28k more than what you want, and if he keeps up an 80 avg, he'll make more than enough cash to cover that compared to someone who's sitting on a 60 average.

Boomz

He has only played Adelaide & Brisbane but he hasn't been playing on shower opponents. The kid can play... I doubt I'll get him but I can see why people would.

i wouldnt have thought you would look at trading him out again though?

no, but you *may* be looking to upgrade him again, possibly for a final forward upgrade. I don't know, whatever suits your strategy.

In anycase, an 80 is damn useful cover for byes, especially in the fwd line.

Nothing wrong with the opponents he was against, but GC won the clearances against Crows and im pretty sire against Brisbane aswell. So I dont think he will be getting any where near the supply that he has got in the past 2 weeks. However I am still considering getting him :S

Ziplock

purely out of curiosity, who was he matched up against?

and ftr, myself, I can see GC seriously lifting their game in the latter part of the season once their rookies have a few more games under their belts, probably won't make the 8, but imo could come quite close.

:-X

There, I've said it and called it, now they can prove it :P

fran

Lynch does look like a good pick but there are so many "recognized" downgrade targets that i think are a safer bet atm.

You have to remember they are only young bodies ziplock. they will be physically drained and i reckon they will struggle to score well in there last few games

Ziplock

aye, that's why they won't make the 8 :P
