if you're thinking of carrots then scotland is a good shout - had him last year and would get him again but gibbs + finals bye doesnt work
i agree and disagree.. scotland is more consistent week by week but i want an x-factor... i can cop a 50 if the next week im getting 150...
and like i said earlier... im going for overall... (:
thanks for your input though... unfortunetely scotland is like 3k out of my budget!

Hate Shaw, like carrots.

Carrazzo is the winner for me! He is only as inconsistent as any other backman, but Shaw on the other hand brings it to a whole new level...
+1 will agree on that one!!
plus he can 140 it up!

Holz

scotland for me, i have had broughton, goddard and grimes kill me all season so i want to get in someone who will certainty average 90+

Doogie

I brought in carrots last year about rnd 5 or 6 just before he started his tagging role, pissed me off. But you never know, he could get thrown into that role again.

Got cheap shaw last week even tho i told myself i wouldnt at the start of the season but collingwood are playing well and he can pump out some good scores and is playing well..

But for consistency.. Scotland

Carrots is a superstar, had him from the start and has the potential to pump out a massive score

If your going for overall I'd say your pretty much no chance. I'm ranked like 1520 something as well and conceded defeat already... :'(

GL anyway though... ;)

im thinking along the same way as you man....with shaw/suckling/carrots there is a bit of uncertainty but with scotland its like as close to a sure thing as defenders can offer this year?????

right?

Carlton have a bye in rd 23 so no good if your going to play finals in your league

That's the deal-breaker for me. Was strongly considering him but with gibbs in backline as well it's too big a hole left in my side during finals... :(

Move Gibbs into the mid, then bring Carrats in

Carrots or Scotland....

the 'ol debate > Age vs. consistency???

DT Junkie

Dangerous play I reckon... If your league means anything to you this will just about balls it up cos come prelim youll have gibbs and another blue to offload... By then i doubt youll have many trades left!

Bluke

If its overall you are going for then based on his current form, its not a bad choice at all.

thanks for the advice!

cameron1

he has been given a tagging role every week this year and is still getting great scores due to his tackle count
ill be bringing him in this week over shaw even though i can get anyone i want. I am also going for overall and couldn't care less about league wins

As much as I love my heater!(so much so in the cold winter months ;) Carrots for me as Carlton wont have a bye until round 23.
