super swap- goddard OUT

the time has come for this bloke to go!  ive got just enough coin to swap goddard to Gibbs, then swap otten/lower to H.Shaw.  Not far off finalizing my team, just need to work on my forwards and maybe 1 more in the mid/backs.  currently have 16 trades left.

my backs are: lids, heppel, adcock, enright, goddard, lower, stanley, otten, poupolo,

mids are:  swan, boyd, bartel, pendles, monty, swall, harris, wallis, jacobs

fwds are: franklin, goods, stevieJ, n.volt, j.volt, knights, darling, tapscott, matera, richardson

currently ranked 1253

good move ? bad move?   leaves me with fak all cash but theres a couple rookies coming through so should be good timing

take Gibbs massive 2 x 140 out of the mix the last 5 games average goddard 82 to gibbs 86 unless you think gibbs is gonna smash it dont do it

4.5 ppg average for 5 rounds is hardly worth it

goddard will lose more cash but if you are keeping him it wont matter

and about 15% of teams are probably never completed like my rd1 elim opponent :P

therefore only 23% of teams don't have Goddard... Therefore even when he does score 50, he scores 50 for everyone in your league/league matches/overall

Therefore trading him out is a waste really. That said Goddard cost me a league match once... lost by 19 points when he pumped out a 70 and my opponent didn't have Goddard. fmdt.

fair point ..  i hate going sideways anyway - and this is a classic example of goddard to gibbs.   see now u got me thinking .. 1 more week.?

i have 190k in the bank so i could do otten/lower to gibbs or shaw anyway..    which will leave me with a spare trade or even downgrade someone for more cashhh.

Well said. No point hopping off when everyone cops the same treatment (bar the shower kickers). And a 70 isn't that bad I'm sure you had someone else underperform that week just as badly if not worse!

yes we all hate Goddard at the moment...but that's exactly it...we ALL hate it....

unless you are playing a fairly unique team without him, you are just no worse off...

look elsewhere, because really he can't get any worse   (famous last words !! )
