Insider out

Always good to look back and learn from last weeks trades (given we spend so long thinking about them) I went:

Anthony to Selwood
Harris to Smith

Happiness rating 7/10

What is your happiness rating for last weeks trades??

Andrew

I only did:

Grimes -> H. Shaw

And I'd give that a 9.5/10, can't ask for much more. 10/10 would've been getting Suckling, however...

Chopps

Curnow to smith Harris to selwood very happy so far bout n 8 hope smith keeps his spot

Ziplock

grimes--> enright
curnow--> dal santo

as you could guess, I'm pretty dirty about it :P

Haha, we seem to have a lot in common in terms of our players/trades. Did this trade too and was very happy. I guess we will see how he goes for the rest of the season though... however Suckling like you said is looking very tasty too... thinking of possibly keeping Swallow as you suggested in another post, and going Curnow > Swan, and then moving Heppell into the mid's to cover Swallow/Harris/Iles... then perhaps Lower or Smith for Suckling? Was going to go Swallow > Boyd...

Nails

Grimes > B. Jacobs
Harris > D. Mundy

110/10

*feel free to copy+paste Windiggity dawg*

Archer11

Ottens>Jacobs
Grimes>Murphy

7/10 so far.

Could've gone with Suckling but thought Murphy would be more consistent

Firstly, depending on breakevens, you need to get Swan & Boyd in soon. Swan in particular has an easy month of fixtures coming up. Secondly, due to Suckling being so good on the weekend and me constantly saying he looks the good this season, I'm getting him! You should too. It'd finish my defence as follows:

Delideo, Goddard, Enright, Adcock, H. Shaw, Gibbs, Suckling (Stanley, Lower, Toy)

Then next week I'll get in Jacobs for one of the players on the bench there. Swallow's 100 makes him a keeper for now (he should come back from the bye and go BANG!) and due to Harris & Iles having plenty more growth I won't be moving them on. So this week in midfield I'll move on Bewick for Issac Smith, if Bewick doesn't get picked and Smith does (very possible). Otherwise, as long as my Eliminator opponent is no one any good, I'll cop the Curnow doughnut.

My problem is that although my last 3 games have been smooth sailing, my opponent this week scored 2159 on the weekend... got a bit lucky, but still he has a strong team, and has been averaging 2k per week, while mine is around 1850 (I'm a slow starter :P). Over the next few weeks I'm playing a lot of strong teams too... so I'll probably be making two trades next week as well...

Is there any reason why I shouldn't trade both Curnow and Swallow to Swan and Boyd? I'm definitely doing Curnow > Swan, but if Hibberd plays, perhaps I could hold Swallow and trade Lower or Smith to Suckling? Next week I will probably look to downgrade Tapscott or Matera to Lynch, and then perhaps upgrade either or those to someone like Pav...

Here is my team, with 383k in the bank and 16 trades left:

Backs - Goddard, Gibbs, Shaw, Deledio, Adcock, Heppell, Lower (Smith, Toy, Otten)

Mids - Mitchell, A. Swallow, J. Selwood, Curnow, D, Swallow, Liberatore, (Iles, M. Hibberd, Harris)

Rucks - Cox, Sandilands, (Tippett, Keeffe)

Forwards - Rioli, Goodes, Riewoldt, Didak, Franklin, Darling, Tapscott (Krakouer, K. Harper, B. Matera)

thornz23

went grimes to puopolo
and curnow to selwood

Would have to give that about 9.5/10 :)

Fireballz

I went Grimes > Pratt

I give it about a 3/10 given the scores Suckers and Heater racked up.

PowerBug

Sleeken

Zaharakis -> Goodes

7/10

After 3 weeks of 60s Zaha pumps out a 127 but Goodes still got 115 and is a better long term option.

DG
