Wouldn't surprise me too much with McPhee out for 6-8weeks now. Would throw a spanner in the works but I still think I'd get Smith this week if he's named. I think most will find room for Smith, Mzungu & Callinan - don't know who else will be midfield downgrades from here anyway?

i think if he does he'll be the sub or subbed off.

i read in the west that he will play wafl within 2 weeks. afl with 2-3 id say.

Bennyy

Won't play afl. Well highly unlikely. Footy live app on my phone said he is a chance to play in the wafl. But still promising for us all

He recovered a lot earlier than expected and is apparently fully fit for games now. Therefore he might come through WAFL but he's definitely Freo's best 22 as Mark Harvey (or whoever the coach is all the way over on that side of the country) has said.

Therefore not too much reason to bring him back through the WAFL

LF

you may have read it but this is straight from harveys mouth.they have the 2 coaches back to back every monday night.he said his fitness is that good he may not play wafl he'll be straight in.he will be monitored at training but

Just wait until he is on the bubble

No point. Mzungu is a must have and an out and out gun.

Could be a fwd keeper and at worst will still average 50+ with MPP therefore no point to not get him in ASAP.

I'm recruiting him just so I have a reason to say "Mzungu"

Andrew

Wouldn't you get Smith first before Mzungu? Then get Mzungu on the bubble when one of your GC cash cows have peaked (either Harris or Matera).
