Hey guys, I've got two different scenarios to choose from;

I'm trading Tapscott out for Goodes no matter what, so it leaves me with one trade left for the round, leaving $67,800 in the bank...

1st scenario:
It's crazy, but, Heppell -> Suckling
Heppel's breakeven is 91 i think, and yes he is good, but he wont score higher than 80 most rounds, where as Suckling will.
Then next week, if Hodge plays well again, Boak -> Hodge... Boak is spudding hard..
If Hodge goes badly, then Darling ->Fyfe

2nd Scenario:
Downgrade Lower to Puopolo giving 160k in the bank
Then next week, do a double upgrade of Darling-> Fyfe and Boak-> Hodge

As you can see, I'm pretty keen on getting rid of Boak. I would consider trading chappy in, but he still has a lot of cash to bleed, so ill hold on trading him in

Any help/different thinking will be appreciated

I wouldn't trade out heppell or darling, they've consistently been some of my best scorers.
Lower has been struggling a bit lately so Puopolo for him could be a good choice.
I'm also considering bringing in Suckling for someone like Goddard.
I.Smith could also be a good downgrade target as he plays his 3rd game.
Agree with you on Chapman as well as his breakeven this week is like 170.

Yes, Darling and Heppell are scoring consistently, but they are scoring around 80's, and there is no point having 80 point players when I can upgrade them to players who ton up week in week out.
I think trading out Goddard is just crazy, yes he is struggling, but he will find form (hopefully/eventually).
Some people will think, "oh no, don't trade Heppell/Darling, he is a keeper" but that's just a defensive mindset i think, especially when you can upgrade him to players scoring 90-100+

ok, when you find 7 defenders all scoring consistent 90-100 every week this year, let us know aye? I mean, atm, there's only a bit more than a handful players averaging above 90, and that includes 3 carlton who have a bye in the finals, shaw who's burnt more fingers than birds eye, enright who's been consistent this season... consistently inconsistent anyway, and rawlings, who's both old and playing for north, with adcock's injury proneness to top off the whole situation.

Oh and suckling, the unproven player who hurt his knee last week, and everyone is still concerned about how much he can keep it up.

+1 great post. Can't trust anyone down back this year
