Ruck downgrade - Keep Smith and downgrade Cox/Sandi?

Look it's crazy and it may sound stupid, but I gotta downgrade one of my rucks coz at the moment I have Zac Smith scoring 100s on the bench and quite frankly it's a waste. I still have bench cover because Hale is my other bench ruck and I have Petrie in the forward line and I want to keep that coz I have almost automatic cover for the nth melb bye.
So my question is, do I downgrade Smith who still has a lot of money to make, or do I put Smith on the field and downgrade Cox or Sandi who will fetch me more money to upgrade in other areas (possibly to go Libba -> Pendles).

Looking to make the trade in the next few weeks, but do you think it's worth holding all 3 until league finals and then making a week 1 double trade to boost my team. Or trade out Hale?

So many questions... Help?

sorry mate, but downgrading cox or sandi is the worst idea. If you feel its a waste then by all means trade out smith seeing as you have hale and petrie for MPP.

Personally i will keep smith on my bench even though it seems like a "waste" with his high scores, he will make another 100k at least, so come finals time you can downgrade him and buy a gun somewhere else on the field.

Wait for smith to max out and trade him he won't score hundreds ever week like cox/sandi will. Sorry but this trade idea is worse than when people were talking about trading Swan

Yer thanks sometimes when stupid thoughts come into your head you need people to tell you that you're being an idiot! Haha

Seeing 100s on my bench when other blokes are scoring 60 (Sam Gilbert I'm looking in your direction) makes me mad!

Bit impatient because I lost my first 4 league games but my team is in good shape now and I want to make up some ground coz I think funnily enough that I can make top 4 if i make 5 or 6 trades.
I'll keep Smith for another few months then and re-assess before finals.

If I was you at wait a few weeks as I think Smith will max out and Pendles will bottom out round the same time. Hopefully Libba increases a lot more by then too

Ahh, sometimes you have to think outside of the sqaure to get an edge (but little extreme in this case)

Smith is great cover for when Cox/Sandi have a bye :). Perfect option to downgrade when it comes to finals as he'll be good cover if they pull up sore/get injured in a few weeks. Cox and Sandi are two of the top ruckman, so I'd say keep and forget trading them out as long as they stay fit.

I'd downgrade Hale if you want to trade out a ruckman. Would make about 100k from his downgrade and not sure of many options coming through. He won't score as much as Smith and won't gain as much cash unless he has another big round.

We all ponder crazy thoughts throughout the season, that's what DT/SC make us do :P.

I started out with:

Cox, Vickery, Smith and Keeffe

I was planning to go Vickery > Petrie when Petrie was on the bubble but he didn't really show anything so I went Richo > Petrie

Been planning to go Smith > Sandi but now Smith throws a spanner in the works, do I upgrade him or not lol

I'd leave Smith on the bench, downgrade him when he reaches his peak price and upgrade when you can :)
