I dont have him at all, but this guy is potentially heading 80k,

what is the lowest price a player has ever been at any one point? Does anyone know?

fran

could be a player to turn to the last game b4 grand finals when u just wanna trade someone out to get the most cash out of a cow b4 upgrading to a gun!!!

Montag

good point. could earn you an extra 40k.

I don't think anyone has gone backwards as a rookie before other than ben griffiths from tigers. he started at 92k and finsihed at 85k i think. karmichael could get as low as 60 if he scores another 9

Just say 1 week he had a BE of 5 i would almost put money on it that he wouldnt get it

He still plays his role. Not all players are DT/SC worthy.

I'd love to see him play a run with role in the midfield and get 10-15 tackles a game, dont know why they persist with him as a backman.

Good call with the downgrade option though.

No offense mate but if you're genuinely asking this question then you need to take a second look at how AFL is structured. Here's 5 quick reasons why:

1. Stamina
2. Ability to not lose his man in clearance traffic
3. Defense is the smartest place for him to play in relation to his current skill level
4. He's not going to get 10-15 tackles a game, he's not Jude Bolton
5. The suns midfield is about the one place their game is OK, why tinker

Montag

he tackles like a beast. he is good at running foward but not quickjly turning and he can only see 180 degrres of what is going on. if he were to play midfield he would have to make quicj decisions, and play a 360 dgerees game of football
he is playing like his 10th game of football ever so he doesn't have game sense
in backlines it all happens in front of him only, not around him

Bluke

Plenty of traffic in NRL and Union.

Still, stamina would be the biggest thing holding him back from a tagging role. Possibly next year.

Worth giving him a season down back to pick up how the game is played then they can start experimenting next year.

technically not right there, he played a decent level of footy til he has 17
could be a good idea to throw him in their if Gazza Risky or Brennan arent having much affect in a game, throw a solid body in there.

* Israel Folau is already bailing on GWS it seems, maybe KHunt will return too???

I think Hunt is playing his role very well where he is. He's creating a bit body and good tackling presence in the backline. Just needs to learn a bit more about winning the marking contests and he'll make a good defender.

What role? getting 6 goals kicked on him?

Yep I think so.

Hunt is not AFL material and once the younger Suns players develop, he'll be back playing league.

honestly dude do you know anything about football? because dt isnt everything.

what could you possibly be basing him not being afl material on?

not sure how many he had kicked on him vs adelaide but

is it a.) the fact that hes had 8 goals kicked on him in the first 6 matches in a team thats averaging 142 pts against...

that tells me that hes responsible for just over 1 of the 22 goals being kicked on this side each week.

or is it b.) the fact that he leads the suns in spoils?

strange because if there were two things youd want a defender to do itd be spoil and stop their opponents from kicking goals....

the guys had a year of football under his belt and not only is he competing well at the highest level, hes doing it in a defense that is under constant pressure.
