They seem to score big, looking at the fixtures and seeing Geelong or Collingwood play Gold Coast or Brisbane ect you would think the guns would score massive.
I had Jack Redden last week and thought, like a lot of people he would dominate against the Gold Coast.
He ended up with 64 bad night.
Last night two powerhouse clubs played and the majority of Premiums scored well.
Selwood Swan S Johnson Shaw Bartell(super last quarter)all had good nights. Pendles and Chappy had off nights and still scored 89 and 80 respectively.
Maybe this happens because they both have so many good players that no one really gets a hard tag all night ??
Just something to look at in the future.
You would think Boyd would get 130+ against the Tigers but if this is correct he may not get as big a score as we think.
Anyway Watch This Space.

its pretty unperdictable aint it!!

same thing happens when two absolute guns go head to head. boyd vs swan past few encounters have all notched it up above 100 (apart from this year) :)

Problems

Weather conditions, always an influential factor on whether it's a high scoring game itself and for the players in it. I think if they had played on a sunny 25C day they would have scored much better

TMurphBROWNLOW

they all scored reasonably well IMO. very high quality game no doubt!!

Problems

Yeah other than StevieJ positional forwards didn't score that great, only 17 total goals, lower than any games from last round.
I think with better weather more marks would have been taken, more accurate kicking and less turnovers, but credit to both defenses for making that happen too

I hope you're not trying to imply the Tigers are a bad team?? Seeing as we've only lose to Collingwood, Carlton and Hawthorn (3 of the top 5 at the moment) and we smashed the number 6 team last week, I'd say we're pretty good and have had an unfortunate draw.

GO THE TIGERS! i tipped them too. boyd doesnt have such a great record so theres no guarantees for a huge huge score, i would think.

Just Clancy

Yeah, they all scored well. Except for flowering Didak...

Pentles was tagged hard last night, hats off to Geelong they did it well. And Toovey was doing a great job on Chappy before he got injured.

banking on Boyd to score big...under cover, perfect condition ground, a team desperate for a win and tigers - well, not the tightest playing team ever....

hope your theory is wrong chaosAD......go Boyd !!  :)

I just saw toovey's injury... he got absolutely smashed, poor guy, that looked like it would have hurt ridiculously.

Yeah he got out really lucky with no facial fractures (source commentry update during last quarter) Hope he's ok.

i dont think it really matters too much...

when ur a goal kicking midfielder playing a shower team it may help as junk time comes early but other than that its just random...

And Ling was doing a great job tagging Swan until he got injured. Sucked for my DT not having Swan.
