Hey guys,
Thought I'd start a thread where we talk about where the best money is at in terms of betting (sorry if there's already one like this... didn't see it).

My input for this week:
Fremantle at $1.88 on Sportsbet (and maybe even better elsewhere).
Reasons why: Won 9 of their last 10 against the West Coast. Last game was 160-85 in their favour. Should be looking to bounce back after last week's flogging.
Reasons against: I honestly see none.

Good luck!

Stoke at $4.40 to beat Man City in the FA Cup final in 90 minutes
Reasons why: I don't like Man City and I want them to choke. Man City are also very unpredictable
Reasons against: Man City have got too much fire power, especially with Tevez apparently available again

also

Carlos Tevez at $5 to be leading goal scorer in England
Reasons why: back from injury and only 2 goals behind Berbatov who has not been getting any playing time, Man City's final 2 games are against Stoke and Bolton so can score goals in both. Needs 3 goals in 2 games to clinch it
Reasons against: Rumour has it if United claim the title against Blackburn he rest most of his players in the final game against Blackpool so that they are fresh against Barca. If this is the case Berba will surely play and could score a goal or 2...

I steer away from betting on sports I don't know much about. But thanks for the advice :D

Richmond at $2.18 on Sportsbet.
Reasons why: Current form is much better than that of the Doggies. Barry Hall and Shaun Higgins are both out.
Reasons against: Haven't beaten the Bulldogs in the last 5 years. Last game was a 72 point loss.

Gold Coast with a 38.5 point head start at the line looks pretty decent.

North Melbourne for the flag?

Wish I had followed my own advice here!! When I posted this advice Berba was on 21 goals and Tevez 19 with 2 games to play each. Since then both teams have played a game and Berba has had a goal taken away from him so he is down to 20 and Tevez scored 2 this morning to take him to 21. So with one game to go Tevez is leading and Berba most likely wont play the final game...

This week I would put money on freo and collingwood to win, and maybe a sneaky on syd + hawth. to draw :P

Cicjose

who in their right mind backs a draw.....

meow meow

i've only bet on the draw once. i had a fiver on the gf last year. was pretty chuffed about that.

richmond at the line looks okay this week.
geelong will come out firing so first to 15 points is generous at $1.67
the total match points will probably be set at 196.5 for wc v wb and i'll be all over over.
