^ haha, exactly the same as me. Me and my league opponent this week both had grimes + curnow, so we both traded them out. Looks like he went curnow---> Benjac and grimes---> shaw, while I went grimes to enright and curnow to dal santo. If it doesn't pay off, I am going to be a very very unhappy zippy.

This weeks trade of Grimes to Heater has brought about a DP change  ;)

I'm kinda peeved that I went Enright over Shaw, but the moment Heater pulls out a 47, I'll feel better (as long as Enright doesn't get a 47 of his own first).

yeah, the thing is, this was like my main league rival I'm up against, which is a real pain in the ass. Thankfully, enright's lifting. Hopefully shaw can pull a hammy or something and enright can have a 50 point qtr :P

don't mozz them both....picked up heater and enright with my last 2 trades...so want them both to get firing - at the same time would be nice....

the way it looks between the two of them I will get 2 average defender scores.....again.....so much for defender premiums... :'(

Yeah very happy with my Shaw trade, and next week doesn't both me as my opponent has him. Happy that Swan did nothing in the last quarter too, as I was showerting proverbial bricks when he racked it up in the 3rd quarter. Should be able to get both him and Boyd next week now. Selwood is backing up my faith nicely too :)

Does anyone know if Heater has copped a forward tag yet this season? And if he has, how has he coped with it?

I'm pretty sure from watching tonight he was allowed to run amok for the whole game hence the score

I do have one last spot in my team for a 'premium' defender and have interest in Shaw although I've been burnt by him in prior years cos he has crumbled when he has had someone running with him

he's been forward tagged by carrazzo, white, and mcveigh and he's beaten all of them. Looks like a different player this year, get on him!

Cheers for the update mate, haven't had him on my radar at all this season as he's hurt me so much before  :'( but I'll think about it over the next week if I want to take the risk and bring him back into my life  ;)

I feel that with rollercoaster players (such as Shaw), it's safer to pick them up when they're coming off a price drop and have a low B/E. If you get him now, at $380k, you may be paying more than you should for someone that can spit out a sub 50.

Yeah definitely agree LaHug, I may have said that in haste as his BE is only 38 and he is guaranteed to go up probably for the next 3 weeks at least so cash-wise I would probably come out even as I can't see him dropping much til his bye round, thought?

I've got Dids, Gibbs, Adcock, Enright, Goddard, Heppell, Stanley representing my team and thought Heater in for Stanley who be close to topping out before his own bye, although my fwds need much more work anyway

He's still got more cash to rise, but then he'll go down. I guess this week is the last week you can get him then? It's so hard to tell with a guy this inconsistent...
