I've got Petrie as my only North player and Enright & Selwood as my Geelong players. Does this mean Rawlings is a finals bye too many, or is Heath Shaw the better replacement for Grimes this week anyway? I've got money to get anyone and I've got Stanley/McKernan to sell next week for Jacobs. Cheers.

Honestly, Petrie could be a player to go as a cash cow if his scoring doesn't keep up, but, I don't think that putting Rawlings would create any difficulties come finals. Myself, I wouldn't be looking at more than 2 premiums from any given team, and having petrie + Rawlings on completely separate lines, as well as Enright + Selwood, I don't think it's much of a problem, especially considering if you finish top 4 and win your first finals, then you don't have to worry about the geelong bye.

Shaw's burnt a lot of people before, but he is looking the goods this year, the only thing that puts me off Rawlings is really his age. Then again, just because you turn 30, doesn't make you a pile of crap. I think it's a set of solid options either way. Shaw may be the better move though, just to ease that little bit of pressure when those finals do come around.

What do you think for Pratt from NM?

broken the ton once, after two sets of 80s. Playing defence means he'll be seeing a lot of the ball, and if his scores against geelong are anything to go by, he appears to do even better against good teams. However, the number of games he's played in the past couple of years is worrying, as is the fact that his highest average was 74 in 08. Could just be on a lucky form streak, and looks injury prone.

I wouldn't consider him unless you were far behind, and needed a killer unique to get you back in the game :P

would you trade grimes for shaw or downgrade grimes to johnson and upgrade higgins to either boyd or priddis.

backline is currently adcock, deledio, hurley, murphy, lower, goddard and heppel (grimes, thompson, ottens)

I would upgrade to shaw and hold onto to higgins for now (unless facing a donut) . If you really decide to upgrade higgins, I would be currently looking more towards pendles or selwood rather than boyd due to his price tag, even chapman maybe for dpp purposes. If you have all those players, give mitchell a consideration before boyd, whose price should suffer some huge losses in coming weeks.

Should i downgrade Otten to puopolo with 16 trades left leaving me with 15 trades purely as a luxury trade to free up cash and get in another playing cow (dont have curnow) but is 15 trade too little at this stage in the season?
