Yeah he's been out of form. That slump wont last, he's the captain, he's got no choice but to lead by example. I've posted this somewhere else today, but he's averaged 85+ since 2005. Players of his quality don't just lose their sh*t overnight, and now that Melbourne are finding a bit of form, so will Green. He's been named on the wing

There was a reason that Davis began scoring sh*t. He became a permanant small foward, rarely featuring in the guts. Greens role has not changed? If anything his scoring potential should increase due to the captaincy.

Why do you post useless things all the time? Getting three stars and the title "Experience Coach" by spamming the boards doesn't make you a hero or someone worth listening to.
I'm not saying you don't know your stuff; sometimes I appreciate the advice you give. But all the useless comments like this one are getting irritating!

please, it's not useless, it was intelligent and lightening. If you read into enough, you could probably even infer what my belief was, that just because someone's getting older doesn't mean they're going to be bad. Look at goodes, he's still smacking it together.

Besides, going bald doesn't mean your getting slower/ less fit, it just means you have a genetic disposition to being bald. Most old men bald, but not all bald men are old.

I didn't think I had to spell it out, but clearly I did. IMO green's had a pretty bad form drop this year, but that doesn't mean he won't come back firing. He very well could be worth jumping on if he can produce some nice back to back scoring efforts.

yep, way to quote me on something that happened 10 days ago... in all honesty, I have a small OCD thing for numbers sometimes... my 'two month birthday' on fan footy as I put it was coming up, and in my mind set I needed to make 1000 posts by then. It didn't make sense, not even to me, but I still tried to keep every post that I made as helpful as possible (except for the thread or two where I got side tracked into having conversations with people).

It wasn't an awful joke, as far as puns go, it was actually pretty flowering good.

I just quickly scanned through my like last 60 posts, some of them weren't extremely helpful, and were only really used to support someone elses opinion, or give quick yes no answers to questions, others were, IMO, pretty good, had a fair amount of advice, stat crunching etc.

A reasonable amount was just random shower to do with me organising my 'project' on DT Strat.

there were really maybe 3 or so posts that could be placed in the same category as the one in this topic. One where I hacked on higgins, one where someone called L anthony a bit shower and I just responded with 'snap', and one when I was justifying why the hawks were correcting people on puopolos name (to quash rumours of him having decent job security, because I really don't think he does).

Then, I made a topic in which I responded to questions for half an hour (before I had to leave work), that I jokingly mentioned, to paraphrase, 'just to get my post count up', when honestly, I just like helping people and giving advice, however this wasn't even a separate post, and to tell you the truth, I don't even know if starting forum topics count as a post.

So really, in a nutshell, me 'posting useless things all the time' happens maybe 10% of the time. And even then that's only if you can define attempts at comedic relief useless, which would then open an entire opportunity for discussion on the important of art forms, which essentially an expression of the soul/mind is what separates man from beast.

In any case, I believe the quality of many of my posts far out weigh the small flippancies in a couple of them, and if you don't think so, I don't really care :)
