Swan, Pendles and Selly would seem obvious choices but all playing eachother... in the rain.
Nobody gets massive scores in the rain let's face it..
Boyd is shocking against the daniel jackson tag averaging 79 for his career.
Cox and Sandiland are playing eachother...
So who to pick?
Colin Sylvia could have another big one but reliability has never been his thing.. cox seems to do well regardless of who he plays but won't get the same number of tap outs.
I say if you have a watson go for it, but I don't... so out of the players I've mentioned I'm finding it hard to choose a skipper.
Opinions please?

to say no one gets good scores in the wet is incorrect.

bartel is a gun when the conditions get slippery.

theswiz

By good scores I dont mean 100... im talking the 150 we all hope our skip gets... 100 for a captain doesnt cut it anymore.

As thatguy said - BARTEL in the wet can pump out those scores, especially at Skilled

theswiz

okay i'm not saying he wont.. bartel is a gun... but not everyone has him...

Ziplock

swan. You'll all see, don't doubt him. Goodes playing port anyone?

worth a shot if you doubt the rest :P

theswiz

think i'm going cox.... his form and avg have been great and he's playing at home, albeit against the giant sandman

BillMurray

I agree with the wiz's premise (and i have Bartel) that majority of midfielders will struggle to get large scores when the conditions are very wet/windy etc. Being under the roof is a massive advantage for Boyd..

thats very risky... hitouts will be shut down by the big 211. cox avg 30+ per game = easy points

but not so easy v the giant!

Johnnysd

goodes or boyd even though he has a shower record against richmond

boost

It's pissing down in the City and the wind is blowing hard.

I am worried about Swan as captain.... Seriously considering Boyd who will be hidden under the roof.

now you have me questioning!

Mozza3

The Dogs have copped a hiding in the media so no better person than the captain to come out and make a statement. Boyd to dominate.

theswiz

rain has stopped. I think it wil be on and off as it has been but things are pretty wet. tough decisions.. might get off cox come to think.. LOL get it?
sorry anyway im just really worried about boydy
