What is the BEST possible Midfield this year?

definately not murphy!! but selwood is an absolute gun and definately deserves to be in there, i think montags will find some form soon and find his way back to last years form!

After pendles trade this week my mids will looks like:

Boyd, Swan, Bartel, Mitchell, Pendles, Grigg*

I think after my final upgrade of Grigg to possibly Mundy/Selwood later on when price is right should give me close to the best possible starting midfield*.  8)

Geez a few sold on Mundy, me included... who should I lock in this week for my Curnow upgrade - Mundy or Pendlebury? If I go with Mundy I can squeeze in Grimes -> Rawlings, otherwise I'd have to downgrade Grimes to Jacobs or wait...

Mundy is a great choice, will be very consistent this year. I have been tossing up between the same two actually but in the end i'm leaning towards Pendles for the key reason that his ceiling is far higher than mundy, with potential to score 140+ points a game whereas the freo candidate tops out around the 120-125 range. This then moves Pendlebury into captain consideration territory which is always a good thing for a DT coach.

That's my reasoning anyway  ;)

However what I like to do is add up the avg score of the two players im getting in and see which is better... for andrew assuming he has about 18 trades left i think two solid premiums is better than a rookie and a prem... then get pendles next week or after the bye, whatever floats your boat!
