Can get any mid but which is the best to get right now???

SO like every1 else im upgrading curnow.. and my mid atm is:
Swan, Bartel, Stanton ( :-[), Swallow, Ward, Libba (Curnow, Atley, Harris)

with stanton out this week it means i really need a high scoring mid.. But i really wanted to get some1 who was bottoming out..  i have 540k to use to cash is not a problem..
Obviously the best options are boyd or pendlebury but they are almost at a maximum in price atm. it might also be a problem having 3 dogs in the midfield.. although i plan on upgrading libba and ward preti soon..
I was thinking of selwood which would leave me with like 110k in the bank buuut that would give me him n bartel in the mids with chappy and stevey j up forward.. i think he is the best value right now and i guess i could just suck it up and bench the 4 of them for the remaining bye they have..
The other option i was thinking of was getting pav or sylvia and moving them to my fwd line later on when i can downgrade matera to a callinan or mzungu.
other options are mundy and mitchell who r both a little lower priced than boyd but pumping out good scores..
So guys i just really want some thoughts on who u guys would get.. cheers :)

mmmm was thinking about him as well but i dnt really like him :P is he the best option atm as well? i dnt think he will be top 6 mids at the end of the season.. although he is playing like he will be right now

Watson has a bye in 2 weeks. I'm tossing up with Selwood or Mundy although the Pav & Slyvia plan has merrits as well.

I think I'd rather upgrade my mids first as they are highest scoring area.

yeh i definitely wanna upgrade my mids first.. i think atm i like selwood the most. i definitely want both boyd and pendles in my team but i guess i gotta hope that they just drop in price a bit..
Thats a good point about watson.. i think because of that i might rule him out. I've never really considered mundy as an option but he has been consistent over this year and most of last..

My point was that I'd rather trade Watson in after his bye. I actually rate him in the top 6 - 8 mids this year. And yes Essendon is a top 8 this year. But if you make the final you still would need to double trade Watson.

I guess either way its a risk.

no i think they are saying he is better value atm because he is like 60k cheaper. boyd imo is clearly second best dter after swan

No one is rating anyone over the other. I am talking long term. Captains do not exactly go away. Rare.

Thats who you need in. As you have Swan Boyd. He will not be dropping for a while yet.

no sorry i was just checking if u understood what yoshi was saying about how geelong and essendon have byes in dt finals. meaning that they are slightly worse options to pick than other teams.

and footy god i know i need those 3 but i wanted to wait a little bit until boyd drops to even 450k. pendles i would consider atm but i mean getting selwood or some1 else gives me an extra 60-100k to use on another upgrade which is almost saving a trade
