Hi, I'm currently looking a bunch of different players at the moment, and their breakevens can help me make a decision on who to bring in this week or next week (need to make 3 trades between now and the end of next week when I'm playing a top team in league).

The players I'm looking at are: R. Murphy, H. Shaw, Enright, Pendlebury, Boyd, Swan.

Cheers guys

Fenno

Don't be a tight arse and go buy it yourself. Its pretty cheap for the info it gives you so instead of trying to scab the info others payed for go buy it for yourself

Bluke

Enright 105
Boyd 146
Swan 167

Only ones I've got in my team and cant be bothered looking for the rest

Azzas Dockers

fanfooty has all the break evens on the front page, click on match - break even or you can use the player search function in the top right hand corner

fenno, don't be such a douche'. This site is all about the sharing of information, I think you'd have noticed pre-season the owners of prospectus were mostly glad to hand out information from the source that they also paid for. Frankly, the assistant coach is a jipp, and it's projections/ approximations are no better than anything else. It's only superior in the sense that the information is very easy to access, and of course it has 100% reliable breakevens.

On the same note, when grimlock made ffgenie, he had absolutely no obligation to release it to the public, (I don't know much about the matter, but I don't think he profited from it?). Some people are in the competition purely to compete with friends, and aren't at all gunning for an overall prize etc. So, why would they pay money for a little extra information? Honestly, the odds are they're not going to be a threat to your ranking anyway, so it's really no skin off anyone's teeth to just give them a little heads up advice for an edge over their work/school mates, family or other friends.

and azza, they probably just want to AC's BE's because they're 100% accurate, rather than being good approximations :)

Thanks a bunch, I don't think I'm the first person to ask, and the vast majority of posters on here don't seem to have it either.

@ Bluke, cheers mate, Boyd and Swan are the most important, and now I'm pretty sure I'll be getting them in next week (hopefully with a bit of a price drop), and getting in either Enright or Murphy this week (who will probably drop less I would assume?).

@ Azzas, cheers mate I know, I was asking for the assistant coach breakevens because the tooserious.com.au and fan footy breakevens are usually off by a bit, usually 10-20 pts and sometimes more.

@ Ziplock, said exactly what I was thinking, thanks for posting, I'm pretty knew to the forum and this is just my second year in DT (or any fantasy competition for that matter), and since I'm living overseas this year, and most of my mates aren't playing in my league this year, I've been relying on this site a fair bit!

beautifully summed up mate :)
personally i use the FF predictions because (like with Duigan's) they are almost spot on (if not one or two points out). There will not be any major discrepencies.

Possumo

@ Elephants - I do too usually, but I've found in the last few weeks they can be more like 10-20 pts off. Boyd and Swan are listed as having a breakevens of 160 and 180 respectively, while Bluke has shown it's actually 146, and 167, so while it isn't much 13-14 pts is a bit...

Whilst I'm not strongly against it or anything...

Isn't there legality issues over revealing Assistant Coach info as in people pay for it and you're not allowed to redistribute it for free like it's meant to be paid for...

Like burning a movie for someone else to watch or broadcasting AFL movies online for free (which sharing of such isn't allowed on FF)

Uh... I would compare it more to recording a movie on the telly with a VCR or using Tivo :P I don't reckon he's going to have the cops bashing down his door anytime soon... ;) I asked because I've seen people ask many times and people usually seem happy to give others the info...

bundyboy

you paid for it - you can do what you want with it..

if that means you want to post all the info - totally up to you....it's definately not "confidential' - so don't fear about it Nails....

theswiz

furthermore we can all access a free trial, so for those of us who haven't used that yet the info is still relatively free...

Just because you've paid for something doesn't mean you own it or can do as you please with it. Take PS3 games for example, when you buy a game you actually acquire a mere licence to use the game in the privacy of your home and a few other places. You can't (legally) go and make copies of the game for sale or redistribution, just like with DVDs. I haven't read the terms of use for the Assistant Coach though so not sure about that.

Ziplock

yeah, and the information isn't being sold, or really distributed, it's being loaned. Like, is it illegal to take a xbox game over  to a friends and play it at their place? Considering BE's are a week by week thing, it's really only a loan of information that's valid for a couple of days.
