Hmmmm, you have to make the grand final first. Who else is around Stanton's price?

Priddis? Nicky Dal??

Ziplock

not anyone I'd consider... don't skimp on your premiums bro.

him, maybe. From memory, I had him in the last half of last season, and he just didn't really deliver. I'll go look up his stats now.

Actually, I'm sorry, I lie. He's only had one poor game all season and did fine 2nd half last year... must have been thinking bout every other player I had :P

not including that 60 odd, he's avging 110... jump on I guess :D

actually, could be a viable option for my curnow upgrade... windigo, you may have just helped me win my league game ;)

Not a problem.

I was a bit bewildered when you said that Dal wasn't a true premo or something.  :P

He is the only Saint really delivering the Dt's.

Mundy averaging 113 this season. Surely rates a mention against the likes of Jobe and Stanton - particularly with their byes

Yeah, I know. But if I get Dal Santo, I can upgrade Bruce>Enright next week.

I had Dal Santo last season too. He might just sneak into the top 10 but I'm worried about him this week with Montagna out... This Curnow upgrade is a real toughie :(

Exactly my reckoning. But I think it would be high top 10, maybe 9-10....

Yeah, with the curnow thing, I reckon you would have to get it dead right. Dal would be a great option IMO....

+1.

only person in the price range who I've considered going with. montagna's suspension made my decision well and clear. ;)

Yeah, I 'll get him & then next week Enright/Rawlings or Deledio (Maybe). Based on who scores better.  ;)

Cheers guys.

think they are 2 good deals W...

I'm personally waiting 1 more week and getting swan after he drops in price again...or else waiting 2 and getting chappy....haven't quite decided that....
depends a bit on how much more Gcoast cows fatten, and what price drops these two have...

so midfield will be just beautiful if i can stick with this plan and no-one else screws me....(that means you higgins !)

harris still has money to earn, why not trade bruce this week, then u dont get a 0. grimes to jacobs still gives u a 0. then go harris to his bald team mate, GAZZA, his BE is 143 atm

Yes I'm thinking this Curnow trade is crucial, particularly for me when I traded him in after his first price rise. I'm really not too sold on Dal Santo, not that he's a bad option but you only have 6 mids they all need to be the best, if possible. This week I can only fit in Heath Shaw if I buy Rischitelli and he presents my team issues next week with the Gold Coast bye (also I feel nervous getting a GC premium but he looks the exception). So picking Rawlings instead of Heath Shaw, I can then have a range of choices in midfield up to $435k... I'm thinking Mundy whose bye lands in a DT league bye and no one else would have, with a breakeven of 96 and a Western Derby coming up.

Grimes -> Rawlings
Curnow -> Mundy

Feels solid while also unique... leaves me with like $10k left. What do you reckon? Would you rate Dal Santo above Mundy? Shaw above Rawlings? Because I could do Grimes -> H. Shaw, Curnow -> Dal Santo and not feel too uncomfortable either.

I like where your heads at. Personally i've been burnt by Nicky Dal before which is why i questioned his selection earlier in this thread. Mundy and Rawlings both seem a bit harder at it than Dal Santo - having said that 390k probably isnt a bad price.

Myself i'm going for a Grimes>>Pederson/Puopolo downgrade followed by a Curnow>>Pendles/Mitchell upgrade. I tend to agree with the structure article on DT talk that the backline is the safest place for new rookies to be right now (Premium back upgrade targets arent dominating like Premium midfield ones)
