Suffered a loss last week. Need to get back on the horse, and Higgins is the man keeping me from my perch.

Forwards:
Franklin, Chapman, N. Riewoldt, S. Johnson, Higgins, Darling, Tapscott (Krak, Matera, Prestia)

Rucks:
Sandi, Cox (Petrie, Curnow)

Am thinking of Higgins > J. Tippet = +260K

which allows me to sub Petrie into the forwards, and using the cash to upgrade the likes of D. Swallow, Liberatore in coming weeks.

Is this too sideways of a trade?

Nope, I think it's a good move. Higgins pisses me off like no other and you have S. Johnson missing games for you as well, so if it's true Higgins is missing this week then move him on. Buying J. Tippett to bring Petrie into your forwards should happen sooner rather than later, and a fixture v Melbourne is an ideal time to do it.
