okay this is what my team is looking like this week with carltons bye.

BACKS: Deledio, Heppell, Adcock, Goddard, Lower, Toy, Hibberd
           Grimes, Gibbs, Otten
MIDS: Watson, Swan, Reden, J. Selwood, Harris, Bewick
         Murphy, Curnow, A. Smith
RUCKS: Cox, Sandilands
           Smith, J. Tippet
FWDS: Sylvia, Pavlich, Riewoldt, Darling, Knights, Petrie, Higgins
          Tapscott, Matera, Richardson

$14,500 - 18 Trades left, OVERALL 1,133

So im currently looking at 2 donuts there!
Im currently thinking GRIMES OUT PEDERSON/PAUPOLO IN to cover the hibberd donut
& then A. SMITH OUT GRAM IN so then he can cover bewick and i can swap him into the backs for hibberd to strengthen the backs again... thoughts?

Its not a bad team......But i think you should get Shaw in instead of Gram?

Gram had a hot start but only averaged 69.66 in his last 3... Closer to being like he has been in a few of his previous years. I'd stay away from Gram to be honest. I think he's going to average closer to 75 than the 85 he is at the moment. (which he only averages due to a hot start)

Lions08

in the same position as you, i have a similar backline to yours but i have already got shaw
sam fisher is looking pretty good, or newman other than that your better off going for maybe a rookie

He's averaged 84 & 92 the last few years?

He should get a trundle.

Had a mass cork on his hip and couldn't run.

He was listed as a 50/50 for GC game. Expect him to suit up.

If bewick does kit up what would you do with my team?

Windigo

Think positive Bewick will/may play.

If not, I wouldn't get Gram. If he bust's a good score I would change my opinion.

Bluke

Absolutely nothing IMO. Gotta wait and see what rooks come through for downgrades injured players dont loose cash so you can hold them for a week or two and wait for a good option.

If you are itching you could go Grimes - Jacobs and Curnow to Premium X though.

I wouldnt do that trade though...

I'm going Duigan -> Puopolo (provided he is named) and
Curnow -> Dal Santo

this week. Holding grimes till Gram drops again this week so I can straight swap them next week.

Windigo

I would go Grimes>Jacobs, but I would be forced to play to many rookies. 'Cuz of Bruce out as well.

I've basically flipped from my initial aim of getting Heath Shaw for Grimes and am now thinking of just downgrading him for Jacobs and boosting Curnow to Pendles  8)  His next six games till their final bye are delicious (Adel, WC, St K, Melb etc).

I prefer this plan as i can bide my time and wait for decent defender upgrades for Stanley, Lower (so few to choose from atm). Feel so relieved I started the year with Curnow and didn't already spend a trade on getting him in.
