Goddard just doesn't have the spark he used to have anymore! I think his days of being "the must have" back man is over... I really rated him and have had him in my teams for as long as I can remember, but I think his time is just about up unfortunately :(

maybe, was hampered by soreness today in side, in terms of impact he's way down but his DT as a backman is ok, we just all paid too much for a 90ish average.

Great players dont get me wrong but i wouldnt say true match winners. Both can MAYBE do it on their day but not on a regular basis. As a oppositon coach u say shut down Roo, God and either Tags or Nicky Dal and ull be 80% on ur way to a win

i dont see why people dont rate dal santo as highly as he should be. he is a certain A-grade midfielder, he's been the saints most consistent player this year and could well possibly be in the top 10 midfielders in the competition. but yeah i guess he isn't an in-and-out match winner, but he is very close by my standards!

I had to look it up to believe he was averaging 90. It felt like so much less!

the problem is lyon is switching him around so much, that he isnt getting near the footy, goddard is the most untaggable player in the competition IF he is played right, and he isnt being played right at the moment

this is 2011 not 2010 im pretty sure goaddrd isnt averaging the most, surely gibbs most be beating him and i think even adcock is. i would say he is a good back to have but no langer is a must have like he was last year.

His average is 87.33. For a bloke we paid 450k for that not an acceptable average. You have Rawlings and Lids averaging all around the same and they were around the 380k mark at the start of the year.

I don't see why it's a stupid post, I'm just bringing up the fact that after the last few seasons Goddard has had, his scoring this season is crap, and I don't see him as the must have player this year.

If ya didn't start him it would of paid Off for me I didn't/wouldn't of taken the risk plus who would I have replaced him with? Deffinetly not a stupid post, hopefully he turns it around I wouldn't mind solid 100s from the backs again
