unfortunately, do to character restraint, I need to start new posts now for my blog. so here's round 9

Round 9: Score 2199, Round ranking: 24 417. Overall ranking: 6480, League 1, 2 and eliminator won.

Despite this monster score round, this is probably going to be riddled with vents, so please, prepare yourselves.

Defence: The only line I am honest to god happy with. Pissed off I traded lower for suckling, 37 points there, but I think in the long run it'll be a good trade. Goddard finally came good, extremely happy (as I'm sure all his faithful owners are), and huge props to adcock, heppell and lids for all tonning up. Solid effort for gibbs with his mid 90s, and enright was a bit disappointing (although not going to lie, picking him over shaw this week had me breath a sigh of relief)
now onto my mids, please everyone brace yourself.

Mids: Swan, far sub par bro. That's pretty uncool. Keep it up and I'll have to revoke your auto captain status and put some goddam effort into choosing a captain every week. Cotchin- I'm damn happy with your 109, way to represent, you're going to be a hard one to let go of eventually. A Swallow redeemed himself in my eyes (finally) with a pretty tasty ton, excellent especially considering how poor his first half was. And now, enter the B team.
Dal Santo- Fvck you.
Higgins- and fvck her too.

No, but seriously, Dal Santo, please, let me down again, means a lot to me. Jackass. And Higgins, what'd you do this time, split your eyebrow or something? Comeon harden the flower up, god, that barely even classifies as an injury.

And ward- sub par. But, fair enough considering your monster 120 the week before. Still has a very easily achievable 50 odd BE.

What burns the most if I had Libba and Jocobs score riding the pine, 87 points lost in the mids.

Rucks: Sandi Cox combo (that's what happens when you screw on the beach, am I right guys? :p), anyway, awesome job as normal, cox you're a beast. Sandi, too bad you got foot stomped, but still an excellent ruck score. Good effort boys.

Fwds: Franklin, Riewoldt, Petrie get a big mention here for some pretty huge tons. Knights also gets props for his 94, goodes and Jvoldt get dishonorable mentions for sub par scores (although in jvoldts case I expected that), whilst rioli also earns himself a flower you with a lovely 55 pointss, especially considering I had krakouer riding the pine, another 25 points lost there.

Points lost: 149. Would have given me an actually respectable score for this round. barbies.
Overall points lost: 570
Ranking if I hadn't been a field choosing failure: 152

Rd 10: Score: 2069 Round ranking: 10439, Overall ranking: 5398, League 1, 2 and Eliminator won

mmm, managed to boost myself up the rankings this week, that being said, some huge ass disappointments. My drunken trade ins of Lynch and Thompson, with my captaining of Buddy paid off though. Boom.

Defence: Lids, Gibbs, Suckling, Puopolo all did well, huge props to them, I'm quite happy. Jacobs' 67 I'll take as it is his 3rd game, imo he'll come out to average mid 70s eventually. Goddard. Damn. flowering Dawson, I'm sure I don't need to say any more. 41 points in less than a quarter in a monumental effort by the man.

Adcocks 57 earns him a passing grade, on the basis it's the first sub par score he's delivered me, and it was due to him playing a considerably more defensive role that usual. That being said, soab better get back to his normal role or I'll be pissed off.

Mids: Swan, I'm glad you had your auto captain taken off you, carrying injuries appear to be seriously hampering your playing. My new trade in Thompson- yeeeeah boy! w00t! 126 and top scored for my team, boomshackalacka! Andy Swallow- these past two weeks are why I picked you pre season, keep up the good work you champion. Cotchin- poor score and you have a bye, time to go this week- so long and thanks for the points, it was good having you. Welcome Boyd ;) Dal Santo is working his ass off to redeem himself, I'm still pissed off over his last couple of weeks, but, if he can keep around that level for the rest of the year, I'll be happy. Higgins- Thank flower I put you into my mids. Pure fluke I didn't play harris or libba. Liberatore is out this week for mzungu, allowing me to get boyd.

Rucks: Cox- you delivered as usual. Damn happy I got you this year.
Smith- good work covering sandilands, I don't care what everyone else does, with you and the Jippett switch, I'm keeping 211 until he gets back to his ass kicking ability. GL holding up against cox and nic nat this week.

Fwds: Captain Buddy held me up this week, and thanks again petrie for pulling out another big one. Splitting north between you and Swallow, just how much does the team weigh? Knight's big last quarter saved his ass, he was close to getting a toung lashing this week, but I'll take a 90 anyday. Nvoldt... heard you got dominated by mcpharlin... barbie. Jvoldt- trying my patience, I got you in for the finals and you better flowering deliver then or I am going to be so angry, it will not be funny. Rioli, I give you maybe another game, possibly two, then you'll be back to dominating and racking up, I sympathise with your injury bro. On my bench, Krakouer and Lynch both get passing grades- if Lynch can nearly score 70 against geelong, I'm glad I've brought him in for my bench. Prestia's 27 hurts a little, but in less than a quarter... kudos. I doubt you'll be the sub next week.

Rd 11: Score: 2071, Round ranking: 14 360, Overall ranking: 4584, League 1,2 and Eliminator Won

Comfortable win in the eliminator this week (roughly 150 points) and gearing up for another easy one next week (booya). Buddy Franklin hurt me being out a bit, but thankfully did not have sylvia :)

Backs: Gibbs, Heppell and Goddard Score passing marks, I'm quite happy with goddard's 111. Enright I have no feelings about- I'm used to him being below par now. While I'm quite disappointed with Suckling and Adcock, failing to break 70 and 50 respectively. I won't lie, that stung. Adcock better get out of his lockdown role fast or I'll be really annoyed. Despite my own advice, I play puopolo instead of hibberd :( That being said, I lost 36 points by not playing hibberd over adcock :S

Midfield: Swan, below par, but we were all expecting that right? Boyd also failed to pump up on the week I traded him in, which was a big disappointment. Andy Swallow is on fire though, pulling out a huge ton in North's victory over adelaide, and I'm damned happy I have him now. That was why I picked you pre-season you beast! Scotty Thompson was disappointing- why did he have to go head to head with swallow? While Higgins pulled up alright. Should be back to 90+ soon imo.

Rucks: Cox and Smith. What a pair of guns. Very happy with both of them. Especially captain cox.

fwd: Franklin out hurt me in my forward line, especially as I could have covered him with dpp via mzungu.... lost 18 points having lynch as cover :( The following players I am very happy with- Rioli, Petrie and Goodes. A passing mark goes to Krakouer while nvoldt and lynch were just disappointing.

Please stop using prestia as the sub. And honestly, where is toy??

Overall, reasonable round, not much rage. Am contemplating trading krakouer + harris to ablett this week, or hold off and waiting 2 week for pendles. Difficult decision aye.

Best plan of attack from my perspective would be to mpp Higgins to forwards for Krak daddy and upgrade Harris to Ablett or Murphy or Selwood.

How many trades do you have left? If you have some spare i'd recommend upgrading Knights to Chapman/Stevie J soon and that will well and truly complete your team.

only 10. I plan on, if luck has it, upgrading prestia or lynch to sylvia as one of my last trades. That'll give me a lot of really good bench cover in the fwd, ruck (with petrie) and midfield line, as well as retaining the players I got in/ am keeping for finals (jvoldt, knights) and getting in sylvia who should absolutely chop up in the final 4 rounds.

I play mostly for league- hence why I'm staying away from murphy + selwood.
