Robert Walls is the best by far!

The worst was Stephen Silvagni... thankfully he doesn't do it anymore...

I HATE Ray Warren in the NRL...

Glenn Jackovich by a mile. Not only is his voice annoying but his bias towards the Eagles is just ridiculous.

Robert Walls is a terrible commentator and has a worse football brain.

His theories are usually borrowed or stupid. Carlton had an awesome team the year he coached them to a premiership. They probably would've played better if he wasn't there.

Worst commentator ever (Cast your mind back a few years) = Graham Cornes. Absolutely excruciating

The Fat Man agrees, even Mrs Fat said it doesn't sound right having a females voice talking football lingo like a male. It's a bit like walking into one of the drinking holes down at Alberton, listening to one of the "BOOZE HAGS" swearing, cursing in the drunken manner that makes anyone turn away and go somewhere else.
Maybe if it was more of a specialty roll like the boundry riders do, it wouldn't sound so out of place.

if it counts, Drew Banfield was the worst in history. He was a boundary rider for AFL games at subi. but he really struggled to get sentences out and umm and arghhed alot. was tripe, really god awful.

so he got a run for one season before the network he worked for decided he really couldnt do his job. it was never explained where and why he went, but I thnk most of us worked it out.

What an intersting day it would be listening to a Warrick Capper/Rex Hunt/Jason Dunstall & Caroline Wilson combination calling the game.
Major arguements there i'd reckon.

At least we'd get a laugh.
