Not only does Swan have the bye, he will drop in price once and probably twice after he returns.

Then he has a second bye in round 13, which is not long after the first.

I think there are genuine options to score more and earn more money than Swan up until then.

After round 13 there is no reason not to have him in your team, but up until then I think there are options which could prove better

And it's only one extra trade in most cases to get Swan out and back in again. If we could ever afford that, this is the year.

Trade out Swan if you wish. It's not my team so I really don't have a TRUE influence, only a little guidance....

I am considering this as a possible trade this week. I've worked it out all on excel and if I get rid of Swan this week and put him back in 3 weeks later, i get an extra 290 points over 6 rounds

There a few people in this post bagging Ziplock. Although he has made some interesting points, some of which you may or may not like. He is just expressing his opinion on the matter, which is neither right nor wrong. Opinions are not facts.

also i did a trade last year or the one before ablett out (groin or hammy issue) swan in 2 rounds later i had ablett again made my team much better for the trade that it cost
