Really wanna get Jobe in this week! he is killing it for the Bombers and have a deff man crush on the guy  ;D
Jobes 115 avg is just too tempting

Thing is he's playing West Coast this week so I dont want him to chop, but also think Selwood could go to him and tag him well.

I'm also thinking of taking the crazyness of trading Swan to get him, Swans b/e of 181 and has the bye this week, I'll be in a perfect position to pick him back up in 2 or 3 weeks time with some better matured cows

ideas for me people??

That is the stupidest trade i have ever heard of, you must have 40 trades this year if your doing trades like that !

Memphistopheles

I think Jobe has a fair chance (better than 50%) to not pass his BE by much.

So his price should remain the same for next week.

Let your cows mature another week and pick up Watson next week and play him alongside Swan.

*facepalm*

no.

Doesn't matter if swan loses money, if he goes and scores 160 next week (which we know he can), he'll still lose cash... but you'll have gotten 320 points from him as captain.

just went over jobes stats from last 3 years, highest score this year 135, highest score ever, 145 (2009)

swan just destroys him my friend.

swan is a dt machine. definitely starting to rate jobe better as a player

Ziplock

don't get me wrong, jobe rocks. Could be your xfactor.

however, if jobe is a beast, then swan is a herd of beasts.

not thinking of getting Swan out all together, but at some stage I'm gonna use trades to get a premium in like Watson
Swan has a bye and is coming off 2 scores of 102 and 96, then plays Geelong (avgs a 114 against the Cats and thats without limited rotations). Then I look at cashing in a cow to upgrade back to Swan against Adelaide

I dont think its a waste of a trade either coz I'd be using the same trades and ideally making more money

Just a thought anyway

as crazy as it sounds i dont hate it, especially with the next bye comig pretty soon as well. I wouldnt go to watson though. If i had plenty of trades i would consider swan to selwood and than hold the money, and use it for a double upgrade the week after. Than pick up swan for curnow after his second bye. Im not doing it as i have already used 6 trades but i would consider it if i hadn't.

browny_wce

looking forward Jobe has the round 10 bye

Ziplock

it's a waste of a trade. You're going to need to get him back into your team, as you said not out forever, that's another trade

so, two trades down to get jobe.

but wait, you'll need to downgrade a player to get swan (at least downgrade 1)

that's 3 trades, possibly 4, for jobe watson.

I'm going  to be frank here, like f uck any player, I don't even think Swan, is worth 4 goddam trades. especially when you can get him with 2.

Yeah sorta kills that idea.

I know I should hate your idea, but I can't bring myself to hate it too much.

I hope you realise Swan's official BE is only 169 though not 181.

If you were going to do it, I'd do it to get Mundy in. On his way up in price and already had his first bye. Plays some pretty average teams next couple weeks too.

#11
this week: Swan > Jobe +$60k (already got $50k floating around)
2 weeks away: Duigan/Conca/Yarran > rookie (probably Mzungu or ISmith at that stage)
and then Swallow/Harris > Swan

3 trades for 2 guns + a promising rookie, not 4 trades for Swan u dropkick

kinda thinking now it doesnt have to be Jobe, could be Selwood, Mundy, Judd, etc.

Ziplock

well, sorry for not knowing your bank balance asshole. And no you retard, that's 3 trades for one gun. Let me break it down for you

Swan + trade + 2 cashcows---> Jobe + 2 cashcows + cash---> Swan + Jobe + rookie

or, end result

Swan---> Swan + Jobe -3 trades

by removing swan from each side you get

0= Jobe -3 trades
3 trades = Jobe

Jobe= 3 trades
Jobe= premium
therefor 3 trades= premium as well as the loss of swans points (double if he's captain) over the week he is out.

did I step by step that enough for you?

browny_wce

so then again mate, what I said 3 trades to get Jobe (or another premium) and Swan  ::)
doesnt matter how many times u break it down genius, I'm still right
and the last 2 or 3 weeks I've had other players in my midfield who have outscored Swan by a fair amount who I could make captain for a few weeks
