Have 90K in bank and want  to upgrade Duigan this week without doing double trade. Suckling looks best option. Alternatively could double trade Otten - Hibberd, Duigan - Adcock / Enright. Thoughts anyone?

im liking the look of suckling too... is he going to end as a premium back though?

that is the question i guess. do you want him at year's end or look to re-trade out, which would probably be a waste

I like the second option to get Enright.

Doovster

Want him to be a keeper, but could go either way i reckon.

Other backs: Lids, Godd, Gram, Hepp, Stanley, Broughton, Lower.  Bench = Duigan, Otten, Coad (ouch).

Also have Gibbs in mids to provide the flexibilty.

I don't think enright will make his BE this week personally, or barely will.

So, could you trade for suckling this week and double trade for enright in a week or two?

not enough ball down back this week you reckon?

Ziplock

I think not. Playing nth melb. from memory, look, I might as well number crunch it for you. Ok worst score this year was his 59 vs port, apart from that he's scored highly (or decently) against st kilda, freo, hawthorn and sydney (keeping in mind the geelong kilda game was a 1 pt difference).

If you look at last years stats, some of his lower games were vsing teams like brisabane, melb, wc PA, which were from memory all bottom 8.

This game thie Wk/end will be pivotal for Suckling and many DT'ers.

If he carves, it makes that little bit easier putting him in yah side. If he fails......2nd thoughts...

I should've gone with gut instinct and got this guy in sometime along the way already. Now he's at a tricky price, is he too expensive to be considered? Windigo is right, it's a crucial week for Suckling DT wise. Breakeven of 69 also problematique but it is against Port Adelaide. Duigan -> Suckling is a pretty comfortable upgrade and I'm confident enough that Suckling will be a 6th/7th defender for the rest of the season and be good value for it. My defence is:

Goddard, Delideo, Grimes, Adcock, Gibbs, Suckling, Lower (McKernan, Stanley, Toy) with 17 trades $140k left

Seeing how poor so many premium defenders have been I think he's one worth getting on. Plus Hibberd is primed next week for one of your other cash cows, for me McKernan is only a week or 2 away from needing to be sold. With Heppell in midfield currently I'll swap him into defence, which I could then leave for a while. A solid strategy for mine, should I do it or can I wait another week to see if Suckling is the real deal? I'm sure he is.

Ziplock

what's he at, like 280k someone said?

I would be very, very, very tempted to get him if I wasn't getting enright.

Hell, I'm tempted with getting enright.

Windigo

Looking at going Bruce>Suckling next week.

I'm hoping that Suckling smashes it so  I can justify my selection.

I had him last year and  I was hoping for a breakout year THAT year..This year? Clarko tipped him to have one this year too.

At $296,300 and a B/E of 69 I just hope he doesn't smash it TOO much for my sake... :P

Hm, and is playing Port this week. I'm still cautious...
