I dont know why everyone else agrees with trading cows who are underweight.
why would you want to trade swallow who is absolutely tearing up, libba is still tearing up but has gone off peoples radars because he had a bye and curnow is doing better and harris is doing his job and he will get better. Harris missed a couple of years of AFL so he is still catching up but he will get good. getting rid of any of these three just because you think wallis or iles will do better is ridiculous. the three you have are performing and iles and wallis are unproven and havent even earnt job security

1. there is a good possibility that 70% of your consistent 80+ cows will mature at the same time, therefore knowing you can only trade in two per round you need to make them at separate times. some will need to be slaughtered prematurely :P

2. rookies on the bubble are hard to find ATM, jumping on one now saves you the headache of finding a reliable rookie once your cows have fattened up completely.

3. fallen premiums are bound to rise again and you want to pick them up and get your best team on the park as quick as possible!

4. we don't necessarily believe that bubble rookies such as iles or wallis will score better, rather they will be sufficient cover when the premium you traded in has a bye.

5. some of us just need the money to upgrade! :P

Looking at Ben Jacobs this week if he plays (will oust Duigan for him making $110K), and Redden for Brisbane, the kid looks like a gun and he's playing GC this week, looking for a nice price rise then watch him become a premium.  ;D

hopefully jacobs get named this week. had high hopes for him this year. he was gonna be good this year until glandular fever strikes yet another young gun (like shuey last year). jacobs is gonna be a great downgrade target. if he was named this week, i'll get him in for either libba/harris then get duigan out for enright.

hopefully mzungu and callinan are close as well  :)
