This is more of a general post but is a double downgrade one week and double upgrade the next leave your team too weak for the one week time frame?

Imo it really hinges on whether u can cover ur downgrades in their various positions. Mpp flexibility helps. Other things to consider are ur overall ranking if thats wat ur goin for or who ur league opponant mite b. Can u cover a slightly weaker team by by thinkin about selecting a captain that should kill it with a anticipated 130+ type score?? If not its prob too much of a punt and i wud prob downgrade one per week i reckon

Duigan really shouldn't lose too much value I suppose. I do want wallis on the bubble though.

Duigan ---> Ben Jacobs
Harris---> Mitch wallis
David Swallow ---> Marc Murphy
Danny Stanley ---> Jason gram

I don't really get this ele... unless you're going prem > rook.

Downgrading is stuff like Harris > Hibberd

You're going rookie price/scoring to another rookie priced player. Their scores shouldn't be too different unless trading out LTIs which should probably be for guns anyway.

there isnt a problem with your theory, if, you have cover. it makes it easier if you are downgrading your bench players.
i have thought about it this week for myself, but i have both pendles and swan not playing, so i will not risk it. i am going to double trade, but 1 down and 1 up.

I'm saying that I don't see where you think a problem lies.

Two downgrades making a team too weak? Look at the downgrades you're making...

Duigan > Jacobs.      Duigan = playing average lately Jacobs is a DT slut. If Jacobs is playing I'd rate him at 52% likely to outscore Duigan.

Harris > Wallis          Harris might outscore Wallis by 20 points AT MOST and Wallis might even outscore Harris.

Your team isn't really getting weakened at all by making two downgrades.

I'd rate Jacobs at a closer to 60-70% chance of outscoring duigan. Your team won't be badly weakened.
