Higgens a possible chance?

I was just watching sport on ten news, and they said that Higgens could be a possibility to play this week. I'm not holding my breath, but I'm grasping at any glimmer of hope that he plays!

True, I think i'd rather him have the extra week off to make sure he is right. Don't want him to come out, score a 20 then do a hammy or something...

I have him bad news is:

When he usually returns from injury his scoring is well down. Last year first few games (like last year) I think he averaged 100. When he returned it went downhilll. Let's hope he can atleast still average 90-95 from the 20 games he plays.

i think we are all getting our hopes up.. we need to remember how truly soft higgins is :P I hear he was out with a V@gina infection... so im not sure how long they take to heal...

Eade said "Higgins unlikely to play next week" according to West Australian. The worry is I don't know exactly what is wrong with him? His terrible injury history suggests he wont be risked so he'll warm the bench for 3 weeks out of 4. Fyfe looking tastier by the moment.

if he is named in the squad start him on, 2nd game of the round so hopefully there is a clear cut verdict Friday

I think i'll ride it out, if he isn't named this week I have plenty of cover for him. I don't understand how "soreness" leads to a 2nd week off... Wish they would just say what's wrong with him.

you cant really say that because it hurts there scoring. Instead of playing a player averaging 100 they may be forced to play a matera or tapscott who are averaging much less.

I can't believe this. I traded him in after their bye thinking I had avoided a bye. Then he scores 90 which was fine but now he is suddenly and mysteriously injured and misses 2 weeks! Worst trade of the year so far for me.
