looking at downgrading duigan to some rookie
and upgrading cam richardson to j darling
darling has a be of -16 and the way wce has been playing could be a good trade?
playing essendon this week tho.
hes the only playing avg around 90 in that price range.
thoughts?

I think you missed the boat with Darling unless you think he is a keeper. Maybe he is  :-\

scotty_222

i like the way he plays.. strong at the contest
great kick as well

Hydra

If you can, Jroo is a MUCH better option than darling at $380,000 or so.

scotty_222

i just feel my forward line lacks the big names

m pavlich, n roo, j roo, c knights, d petrie, a goodes, (c richardson, b matera, l tapscott)

Hydra

Your FWD line is very solid at this stage. I wouldn't change it. There's no other big names to be had really except Franklin/Rioli (injured), Chapman (too expensive), or Harvey (inconsistent) or Fyfe (is he legit?), or maybe if you wanted next week you could take a stab at Didak.

I'd be getting on Darling, he's 260k odd and is just so consistent, he will rise to 350k, get some decent scores and provide a good ramp to a Didak, Chapman etc

scotty_222

i just find knights and petrie too inconsistent and will be looking to upgrade them in the coming weeks
i just reckon i could make a little money on darling now whilst still have a good score out of him
where as richardson has been dropped and only avg 44

yeah i agree and his b/e is soo juicy as well

post your team scotty, so I have a better understanding of whats going on.

Right now, I don't think you gain a lot out of the trade.

scotty_222

b gibbs, b goddard, d heppel, j grimes, d stanley, n lower, l thompson (n duigan, g broughton, s buckley)

b deledio, t rockliff, t liberatore, d harris, d swallow, s savage (d swan, s pendlebury, s higgins)

d cox, a sandilands (z smith, m bailey)

m pavlich, l franklin, j riewoldt, n riewoldt, a goodes, c knights, d petrie (l tapscott, b matera, c richardson)

charliesheen

no its a backwards trade.

knights/petrie will become excellent candidates to become didak soon.

work on strengthening your midfield, think about bringing in selwood/mundy.

savage has a pretty high BE .

scotty_222

still have rookies with low b/e
my problem is the forward line

your forward line is fine.  Goodes just had a very bad game.

At rounds 7+ you need to be prioritising your efforts on grabbing the fallen premiums before they rebound, rather than looking at things like darling.....

they won't stay cheap for long.

if you want to strengthen your forward line, then you should be freeing up cash for a premium.
