has done a super job
but i think its time to boot the big fella.
anyone else giving him the chop next week??

MC

Yeah was thinking about it. Depends on injuries etc. Want to move Gibbs from mid to back, ditch duigan and perhaps upgrade a mid. I have 160k in the bank, 22 trades so depends on who is available for the price. May even upgrade duigan to a prem.

Ringo

Based on the rule for cash cows when their average score are approaching break evens it is time to trade.  Duigan has a B/e of 84 next week.  Thinking of leaving in him next week to see how he goes and if he maintains his average definitely trading out week 8 Carlton's bye. Like most people thinking of downgrading to Hibberd but Buckley/Pedersen or even Karmichael Hunt or Xavier Clarke returning from injury are targets.

Muneem

I dont know what his B/E is, but if its 80+, I'll trade him out for Hibberd.

ando_10

fat chance of him picking up 80 gives away to many frees.

so hes run his race hibberd will get a gig providing he performs tomorrow.

Agree I am waiting till Friday also to see if Puopulo is named for Hawks with Bruces injury as he may also be a target and increase in cash over the 6 weeks if he plays all games. Decision then between him of named and Hibberd

I'll probably keep him one more week and trade him out for Carlton's bye - and upgrade Stanley at the same time.

Usman

hell go this week for sure and then it will be bye bye stanley the week after good cash for upgrades we have been very furtunate with cash cows this year even in the backline which can be rare at times.

thebrock7

After this week he will be worth around $275k

I personally won't be trading him unless it is un upgrade or part of a 2 trade upgrade.

The reason I say this is because most of the possible rookies will only have 1 game under there belt - Hibberd, Johnson, Cripps - they are the ones I will be looking at as I doubt Buckley can get a regular spot.

If he score 70 odd next week you loose only $5k, 50 odd and you loose $20k. I'd rather wait especially with the buy where he can't loose any cash and give myself time to see which of those rookies is best (see if Puopulo gets a game and if so how he goes). I can't see him bleeding cash against the saints the way they are going. Unless people think he could be sub? or subbed off? That could hurt.

upthemaidens

i traded him last week, for adcock. happy to do so, wanted the extra points to try to close the gap to the leaders. figured duigan didnt have much more left in him,and adcock was gunna go up aswell so didnt lose anything.  now if only i could do something with goodes and saint nick,,,whats with those scores????

The problem with that is if he doesn't get near 80 B/E   ---then you'll be losing money.
