How far is too far

Everything is starting to sort it self out. The creme is rising to the top ranks and these multi byes are seeing rankings go everywhere. After this week it will go back to normal scoring. I ask you how far behind after this weeks multi bye is close enough to challenge for the grand prize? And how far behind when you just say stuff it and just concentrate on league? Currently I'm sitting about 5.5k and 700 points behind. Close to giving up on overall but we'll see.

I guess it can be done but you need to find a way to make up about 40pts on the leader everyweek from hear on in!

you need to find another Hurn aka 2009 i think. He was slaming some huge scores out of nowhere
with little possies. He won it for the guy who took the punt that year

still 700 points a big ask but we still have 2 multi team byes to go and i think it could be there a lot
of ground could be made up

Anyone in top 6000, who hasn't used more than 2 trades so far is still in it.  More multibyes to come.  As a guide, you'd need to have at least 4-5 good scoring rookies.  (Heppel, Curnow, Harris, Swalllow, Tapscott. libba, etc)

Surely by now you should have used a few trades to get in some "set and forget" prems? Should have started that process by now....

Must agree. By now rookies are starting to ripen and it is time to make trades. The earlier your team is set the better they will be scoring from an earlier time.
Last years winner ran out of trades with 4 weeks to go.
