The Bombers won't be tempted to rest exciting young first-year midfielder Dyson Heppell as they load up at close as possible to full-strength against the AFL's new boys.

"I think we can manipulate that (rest) through his training. Whether we do that in a match situation or via his training, we'll see this week. We certainly have to modify his load over the next couple weeks with his training. But we know he's in terrific form and he's an important player for us,'' Simon Goodwin said.

Hmmm .. the Green Vest is looking very likely indeed. If not then he is a massive chance of wearing the Red Vest off the ground after the game.

including heppell on extended bench

teams are out now apparently?!? :o

wft?? afl.com teams page has Heppell and Krak on extended benches but then for my SC login they're coming up with orange 'emergency - unlikely to play' dots!! :o

what do VS/Champion data know that the AFL teams posters don't?? ???

at least heppell and krak get dots, buckley is on extended bench as well and no dot ???

Buckley has a dot now. So damn confusing. I will just play Hepp with Hibberd EMG not like I have cover elsewhere anyway ::)

I wouldn't take too much notice of the dots/injury info on the supercoach site. They're not always entirely accurate due to when they're updated.

Personally, I reckon Heppell will play. Especially if Fletcher is rested.
Also, if he plays, he won't be the sub.

Almost every new player that has been brought into a team has been the sub. I'd pick Welsh or hibberd to be the sub (if they are in the final team).
