Do you have XBOX Live? You can ask your parents if you they will pay $19.95 per month for sports channels through XBOX Live. Better still only ask your dad lol. If he knows there is a cheaper way to enjoy sport woot!

PS.Only drawback is you may have to give up some of your gaming time so dad can watch his boring cricket or golf ha.

I have foxtel with IQ so I might just end up recording the whole channel every day :)

Haha. I was thinking of getting the spot channels next year (with my own money). I have Foxtel IQ as well so why not just for the footy months :P.

If the game is on Foxtel then I always watch the Foxtel showing of the game. NO ADVERTS DURING THE QUARTER. I really hope this doesnt change with the new deal.

Nah, foxtel makes enough money they don't need adverts. I love the no adverts. Since normal channels show them I usually record them and watch 30 minutes after so I can fast forward the adverts :P.

TBH they shouldn't bring it back - they don't have enough programming.

I like the amount of programming that have now. It is at the limit of what I can make time to watch (basically 1 hour a day) and because it is limited to that there is a lot of quality. I think spreading it out over a day will potentially dilute some great shows.

They'll do what they use to do. Have matches from years ago to fill in during the week. But the general shows they have now should stay.

My dad doesnt like sport and I dont have an xbox :(
