200K in the bank. 22 trades left. Missed the Curnow train but hoping it won't matter as Libba is simmering away.

Thinking R6:

R7:
Swallow > Selwood
Petrie > Chappy

Swallow and Petrie have to get there averages for this to work so its a risk but if it comes off I get 2 top premiums in early.
What do you think? Worth the risk?

Krak>Chappy instead of Petrie?

Wish I could. Petrie will be around 300k which I need for the jump to Chappy. Damn you Chappy, why do you always have a 130+ game every 3 weeks!

I would wait and see teams named before your trade in RD 6.  Not sure about Stanley to Pedersen as it will only gain you 80k and Stanley has a negative BE this week so further price rise for him possible.

I know the strategy means under cooking Stanley & Duigan's price potential but getting in Chappy and Selwood early would surely bump me up the ranking before every else. Don't you think?

Other option is J.Riewoldt. Not sure I can handle 50s some weeks. Is he really a premium?

Just had a look at Swallow and Petrie BE this week and both are negative so they are sure to rise in price as well.  Krak also has a B/e of 27 if he plays so there is a distinct possibility you will be able to upgrade Krak to Chappy rather than Petrie but your decision. (agree with Marcz upgrade Krak before Petrie)

Another consideration if going for league win and you do not win semi final you will have 3 Geelong players for bye in Round 22 2 in midfield that you would need to ensure coverage for if doing the trade.

Thanks Ringo, interesting thought about the cats in round 22. Will go for highest position finish not that concerned about leagues.

I know the PEs of these guys is low but I guess my question is:
Is it worth getting the cash before your rookies are ripe to get the quality in early?

Ahhh.. what a week in football. People calling for krak's head and he smashed out a 119! L.Thompson injury and job security issues were blow away by a 126 and an injury to P.Davis to secure his spot. 1,996 this week for me, think most will be around low. Chappy & Selwood in this week for Swallow and Petrie still looks like a good move.
