needing some advice on trades to strengthen backline up - going for league win only

have $160K in bank and 18 trades left - already few trades used as ordinary team picked to start.

BACKS: Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Duffield, B Smith, Duigan, Otten, Lower, Coad, Toy,
MIDS: Swan, Selwood, Harvey, Murphy, D.Swallow, Liberatore, Harris, Curnow, Krakouer
RUCKS: Cox, Hudson, Macauley, Smith
FWDS: Goodes, Franklin, N.Riewoldt, Pavlich, Darling, Matera, Prestia, C.Richardson, Dawes, Fife

Happy with Duffield as think he will be consistent 90+ from here on in.
When do i downgrade the like of duigan, lower, smith, toy - do i leave coad there as is injured??

advice appreciated

Ziplock

cut one of your back rooks short and upgrade to adcock or gram or someone?

LF

coab is out for 3 months so keeping him is not a good idea
but you only have 18 trades left and thats not good either.
trade coab and thats it do nothing else.

TheBeatles

cheers ziplock - gram could be the one if the saints pull their fingers out.

if i trade coad then wont gain any cash to upgrade so may as well let him sit on the pine???

LF

you will gain cash from coab not much mine you if you trade him to thompson or hibberd.but in turn once they play 3 game they will make you cash.not good having someone on the bench for 3 months making no money.

The Silent Partner

You can't afford to have a backline like that. Too many rookies plus Duffield is shocking. I'd trade Coad to Adcock, then if you can spare the trade take out Duff or a Rookie for Gram.

Mids are good for now.

Rucks: I think Hudson was a bad pick but too late now. If he doesn't perform I think you'll have to play Smith till you can trade him out.

Fwds: Great work there.

I wouldn't think so. Against Richmond I reckon he'll get 60-85. Don't think it'll be his sort of game, but it's your choice.

TheBeatles

not enough money to get in adcock.  Maybe coad to hepell which leaves $20K

Master Q

What if you go Duff down to Adcock then Coad-Hepps?
