Might bring Jared Polec in this week. My current mid rookies are Pittard, Atley, Krakouer, Heppel and Harris and would probably be looking at offloading Krakouer.

Theres not alot of chatter about him on the forum but he seems to be a decent bubble boy.

Apart from Essendon, his next few games are against average sides (Richmond, Gold Coast and North Melbourne) which could lead to decent scores around 70 and $$$.

Does anyone have any idea what his job security is like or why he missed the first two rounds?

he will be granted every chance u would think...
The Lions are in a rebuilding phase and he looks to be a ball magnet...

Jimbo_11

with bewick injured you would think he will get more game time

Yer I know Browny but  the whole reason for the trade is because my  back line  is struggling and I want to upgrade Bock. I'm $500 short of a trade to adcock and Krakouer  looks like the rookie with the lowest upside.

Why oh why did I pick Bock in the first place.... :-[

bit pricey tho'
+1 im going to give him a miss for this exact reason

Montag

missed the first two rounds for attitude problems pre season. wouldnt listen to vossy but they made up and kissed now so he has great js. so skilled. he isnt very quick or athletic but he has great skills.

Talk is that Bewick should be right for selection this week.
Krak > Polec is basically a sideways trade...and they both will probably play a similar amount of games.

Footy God

I really dont see how Krak-Polec is sideways. One will rise 100k and the other probably will be lucky to reach 200k....

I traded Savage-Libba last week for that reason.

It's sideways because they are both rookie priced players.

The difference in output (which could turn around at any stage) doesn't warrent the use of a trade in my book.

don't like picking players with attitude problems but downgrade rookies with decent JS are rare and should be targeted when they bob up as these guys may well be still in your team at seasons end. Problem is it's a bit too early to cash-in most rookies and as Karlos says not enough compelling evidence that Polec will smash Krakouer yet to justify a straight rookie correction trade.

agree, but polec's first quarter a few weeks back v Melb was very impressive
