With McAuley still to play his third game and current price $91,700 and a break even of -59 is it worth a trade in for Keefe who has not yet played.  Just thinking of cash to be made as he looks like playing 2nd Ruck for Brisbane with Clark forward till Brown comes back. Only done 3 trades to date

i havnt made a single trade yet but as i have zac smith and josh fraser on the pine in my rucks, il be looking at my first trade this week with mcauley...

i just dont know which one to take out  ??? ??? ???

Keep Smith, more money to be made.

I dunno, I have Spencer who doesn't look like playing at 30k more than McCauley, but I'm not going to waste a trade on it. Trades are worth 100k, so no point doing one for 30k.

If you already have someone to cover in the Ruck (i.e Smith) i wouldnt bring McCauley in. Say if McCauley goes up to 250k before being dropped/peaking . You use one trade to bring him in and one trade to cash him out, thats 2 trades for only 160k i think trades are a little more valuable then that.

I think hes got good JS, he played well and i think Brisbane could play all three bigman even when brown returns. Clarke is ment to play foward sine Fev left, leaving Leunburger and McCauley to the ruck duties.

Thanks Hirdy Reason I was thinking this trade is I will score a ruck do-nut this week,  As my main Rucks are Ottens and Sandi  and Smith as 3rd Ruck with Keefe (not very good forward planning I know).  Not going for overall but with byes in league threw out the suggestion.

He would be a handy upgrade for Smith if he had played later on in the season by round 9!

So Glad i have MPP with Petrie and Smith is a brillian cash cow...

WHo else thinks Smith will be a frek in 3-4 years?

I like your thinking Hirdy. I have Bailey but also Smith on the pine. Was thinking the straight swap as I've only made 1 trade so far this season (a new record for me :P). Leu and Clark were very effective up forward and could make the 3 Big Men work (although McCauley showed to have fatigued in the ruck). I'm not sure what I'm going to do but might do the straight swap considering I have the trades to burn :P.

*Peace Out Pplz.

not even considering it, my money can be made better elsewhere plus smith is sufficient cover :)

roo boys!

Yeah Smith is good enough for me.

I reckon trades are worth more than that. Especially this year with byes/subs/more rounds etc. FWIW trading in a rookie ruck who has really low JS and low scoring potential seems silly.
